"A Hopi Elder Speaks" (and a fishy chick comments)Submitted by fishyculture on Sun, 04/07/2013 - 09:44
I don't know if a Hopi Elder really said this, but it echoes what is in my heart. There is an "oddity" here for me. For no rational reason there is a sign I am waiting for, and that is "when the Hopi Elders call the Great Ceremony."
"Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader."
Hold fast to love, stand tall for truth. We ARE the ones we have been waiting for, the instant we choose to be.
This gnawing fear, artfully played upon our trusting minds since we were children, it is nothing but an illusion. The TRUTH is what liberates your mind, and your mind is all that really matters.
Some of us have been, or will go to prison for unjust cause. But we will still have the truth in their prison, so our mind will remain free.
Some of us will die at the hands of ruthless "law enforcement." I can't promise a "great reward in Heaven" but I can promise that wherever you go, we will all be there soon enough. I hope perhaps I will recognize you then, even if I cannot see you now. I would love to shake the hand of every martyr for truth one day. A free mind is not without pain, and standing for truth costs one dearly in a world of illusions. To give one's life to end the illusion is as noble a death as I can imagine.
Be at peace, my friends, no matter what lies ahead. By holding peace in our hearts, we make it grow. By shining the light of truth, we end the darkness of the illusion.
For peace, for love, for truth - NAMASTE'
