William Cooper - friend or foe?

Yes, I know he is no longer living.

I recently came across a link to an excerpt from his book "Behold A Pale Horse" (which I downloaded to my kindle and have begun to read) as well as his prediction of 9/11. I see that there are lots of people who loved him, as well as many who hated him, which is to be expected considering what he had to say... what do you guys think of him and his message? Accurate or dis-info?

Bill was the original truth

Bill was the original truth teller exposing government. How did he die? Shot in the back by law enforcement entering his home.

I miss Bill a lot.

Never knew of him when he was alive but I downloaded all his shows and am really grateful he stuck his neck out for us. He was killed over an unconstitutional tax he refused to pay.

He put his life on the line for OUR rights... our freedom.

Easy answer....

....FRIEND. Bill was such a great educator that he still teaches today, even after his death. Before the first hour of his 9/11 broadcast was over he smelled a rat...an event which he predicted fairly accurately. Great man as far as opening the eye(s) of the sheeple.

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism."

-George Washington

A great educator

Bill Cooper opened my eyes decades ago. We used to listen to him on shortwave radio and watch vcr tapes. I actually had the pleasure of meeting him in washington while we were protesting the Federal Reserve back in '91.
What I admired most was.... " I don't want you to believe me, I want you to find out for yourselves and if you find I am wrong call me and tell me .. Maybe I was programmed to tell you this..."
He opened my eyes to many problems,
enjoy the read

You were protesting the fed when I was born.....

Thanks for widening this road less traveled by.

lol

As if I didn't feel old enough already. Some of us have been at this for a very long while. Ron Paul opened up my eyes back in 88'. Check out this video No.7, it might be the first time I ever heard Dr. Paul speak.

Don't feel old, feel accomplished

I wish I would have woken up in 2008 when Ron Paul had the guts school Giuliani on 9/11. I remember feeling really confused after that exchange. Then again I was in high school so football and girls were much more important.

If I had to give one person credit for waking me up, John Stossel would be the person. Stossel is the man.

Here are Bill Cooper's

broadcasts from 1993-2001:

What was he talking about in 1993?

Creator-endowed rights
Phillip Marsh- Tax
Federal Reserve
FDA vs. the people
Darlene Sherrell on Fluoridation
Income taxes and the law
Income taxes are voluntary
The coming economic collapse
Devaluation of the Dollar
Disarmament in the US- public law 87-297

not sure.. .

I don't really have a solidified opinion of him one way or the other. He said some interesting things, I thought it was notable that he thought Alex Jones was a government plant for the purpose of controlled opposition. calling a conspiracy theorist a conspiracy is kind of funny. I don't really like Jones's methodology or tact, and I think both of them go overboard on stuff. I liked when Cooper had talked to a neo-nazi on a live program and convinced him to re-evaluate his beliefs and abandon neo-nazi beliefs. And it was interesting that he encouraged atheists to dishonestly profess a belief in God to secure how their rights can be accounted for. But I think he's way off on a lot of things relating to Christianity, and history.

The short answer is

friend.

Ron Paul is My President

Bill Clinton

Called Bill Cooper the 'most dangerous man in America'.

9/11 Truth.

Friend

No offense to Alex Jones, but Cooper was the first big time conspiracy theorist and his short wave radio program was like no other before its time. Bill Clinton really did call him "the most dangerous man in America." William Cooper was off base on a few claims but he was the real deal, which is probably why he ended up dead. His best work was the Mystery Babylon series.

People complain about Alex Jones going overboard...

but Bill Cooper was completely outlandish in his claims.

One of which was John F. Kennedy was killed by his driver using "a gas pressure device developed by the aliens from the Trilateral Commission"

He also believed that AIDS was created by aliens to control the Earth's population.

Where are you getting this

Where are you getting this information? Bill Cooper believed John Kennedy was killed by the driver and there's several youtube videos of him making that claim.

Here's his book.

You can see for yourself, he thought aliens were behind the JFK assassination and everything else.

He was either a two bit conman, batshit crazy, or both.

Just for clarification...

Anyone who believes in aliens, or believes aliens might have something to do with governments around the world... are "batchit crazy" right?

Call me crazy then :o)

I just substitute "Fallen Angels" for "Aliens" and it all makes perfect sense.

R.I.P. Bill Cooper.

I am quite sure that, were he alive today...

Bill Cooper's "beliefs" would have evolved.

Just like yours and mine have.

Read the book

make up your on mind on what you think.

People are not either good or bad. We are all trying to do the best with what we have, and we get somethings right, and others not.

I am sure Cooper was similar.

Bill Cooper's central message

Bill Cooper's central message was that you shouldn't believe him... or your TV or your pastor or anyone else. Do your own research and draw your own conclusions. He shared his research and pointed out books to read, and sometimes he was mis- or maybe dis-informed, but if you listen to his old broadcasts you can learn a lot. Don't believe anything you can't verify.

William Cooper

was assassinated. Guess who was State Attorney General at the time? Janet Napolitano.

Taking a glance

back at history, it seems like those who speak truth to power end up 6 feet under...

“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” – Dresden James
