Jim Rogers: “I Suspect They’ll Take The Pension Plans Next; I For One Am Worried, And I’m Taking Preparations”

April 5, 2013 | By Tekoa Da Silva | Bull Market Thinking

I was able to reconnect for an interview with legendary Quantum Fund manager and commodities bull, Jim Rogers. This was an especially groundbreaking interview, as Jim shared thoughts on what governments around the world will be taking next, and what he’s doing right now to protect his personal bank accounts following the Cyprus collapse.

Why would Jim Rogers

Give a damn about the taking of pensions?

Human Power Elite

seems like they're begging for a French-style revolution

Like their evil has so fried their brains they want it over with already and they're going to push the people to do something, anything to end it. The fact is, only the people can end it. And in the grand scheme of things the money aspect doesn't really mean anything. Currencies have come and gone as empires/civilizations rose and fell. We know the people survived because we're here. What we also know is that with every collapse the people entered a 'dark' phase as our cumulative history proves.
We really need to be prepared for after the fall - we all know it's coming and it can't be dependant on a means of exchange (gold/silver) that so few will have access to because that is how the whole thing starts again - the rich become the powerful and the powerful become tyrants and the tyrants become self-destructive.
We will ever stop that vicious circle, but plans need to be in place to help the blind see and get back on their feet.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison

Well said!

"...plans need to be in place to help the blind see and get back on their feet."

Positive and constructive!

What would the Founders do?

Bob Chapman . . .

former Wall Street broker and US Army counter intelligence officer wrote about this several years ago. (God rest his soul). Of course, those -- who were even aware of what he said -- thought the idea was unbelievable.
I will never forget one thing that Bob said. . . those at the highest levels of Wall Street and government are sociopath criminals. At the time, I thought he was exaggerating to make a point . . . but he meant Exactly what he said.

Websearch some of Bob Chapman's many interviews and you'll learn a great deal. He passed away in 2012.

P.S. - Mr Chapman had his doubts about 'Jimmy' Rogers (as he called him). He pointed out that he'd made a lot of money with Soros, and didnt fully trust him. Rogers has been out of the country for several years and now lives in Singapore.

Of course they will that's

Of course they will that's what thieves and liars do they rob and steal. Only a thief and a liar would think they have a legal right to steal your money and substance. Will America ever wake up? Probably not till it is too late and many are living under a bridge or in a cardboard box

End The Fat
70 pounds lost and counting! Get in shape for the revolution!

Get Prepared!

I hear more and more talk like this.

Already members of the U.S. Congress (ie: Jim McDermott D-WA) favors this idea.

And the IRS can claim that it's not our money because we haven't paid taxes on it yet.

I'm not sure about ROTH accounts because that IS after-tax money.

Suffice it to say that nothing is beyond those who control the money of the world.

Namely the central banks and organizations like the IMF, World Bank and U.N.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
