To All Americans... Very interesting - Buy American!

To All Americans... Very interesting - Buy American!

Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost half the price that you will pay

on the outside and they are made in the USA .

Did you know that there is no electric coffee maker made in the USA and that the

only kitchen appliances made in the USA are Viking?

I didn't know Hallmark cards were made in China . That is also why I don't buy

cards at Hallmark anymore; they are made in China and more expensive. I buy them

at Dollar Tree; 50 cents each and made in USA .

I have been looking at blenders available on the internet. Kitchen Aid is made

in the USA . Top of my list already!!!!

Yesterday, I was in Wal-Mart looking for a waste basket. I found some made

in China for $6.99. I didn't want to pay that much so I asked the lady if they

had any others. She took me to another department and they had some at $2.50

made in USA . They are just as good. Same as a kitchen rug I needed. I had to

look but I found some made in the USA . What a concept! And, they were $3.00

cheaper.

We are being brainwashed to believe that everything that comes

from China and Mexico is cheaper. Not so.

One light bulb at a time!!!!!.

I was in Lowe's the other day and just out of curiosity, I looked at

the hose attachments. They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace

Hardware and just for the heck of it, I checked the hose

attachments there. They were made in the USA .

Smart looking, people! In our current economic situation, every little thing we

buy or do affects someone else. Most often their job.

My grandson likes Hershey's candy. I noticed, though, that it is now marked,

Made in Mexico . I don't buy it anymore.

My favorite toothpaste, Colgate, is made in Mexico . Now, I have

switched to Crest.

You have to read the labels on everything.

This past weekend, I was at Kroger. I needed 60 watt light bulbs and

Bounce dryer sheets. Right next to the GE brand that I normally buy was an

off-brand labeled, Everyday Value. I picked up both types of bulbs and compared

them.. They were the same except the price. The GE bulbs cost more than the

Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was that the GE

was made in Mexico and the Everyday Value brand was made in, you guessed it, a

company in Cleveland , Ohio , USA .

Not if you value your liberties

When you tie yourself to global trade you also tie yourself to their laws which is not the smartest thing to do.

For example, we actually allow foreign corporations to buy our gun manufacturers, who then can easily just shut them down or choose not to sell them here.

In addition, because one country allows legal slavery via wages like China doesn't mean it's the best value, because it's put into place to wipe out whole industries that can't compete because of the pricing that is below the cost to make the product. Once the industry is gone, then companies out of China then jack up the pricing because the competition is gone.

I'll sell my product to anyone who's not foreign.......

Is this a 1950's diner???? "Negroes and fish-heads ain't allowed to eat here, ya'll can pick something up from the kitchen if ya'll's hungry"

Free market economics means that anyone can choose to sell to anyone. Free market economics does not mean that Government can tell business owners they can't sell to foreigners.

You also seem to misunderstand what slavery is. Chinese sweatshop owners do not own their employees so they are not slaves. Those people make a choice to work there every day and are free to quit if they want. I'll bet you that those people are happy and thankful to have those jobs.

It isn't the Government's nor your place to tell them they can't have that job because ya'll think the conditions are too bad. They can decide where they want to work, and you can too. That's how liberty works, we make more of our own choices and don't need Governments to protect us.

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson
