I think it's great! We are still early in the 1st quarter too! No others are sitting on RP's amount of cash on hand. There is a continuous flow of cash coming in and the MLK was not as well marketed as the others.

The only way we can lose is to forget that we are winning!

Either way, the media impact of the MLK fundraiser whether positive or negative is going to be minor - the only thing the shows will be talking about for the next week is the stock market. I just hope Ron Paul can get on the air and talk about economics now that he has people's attention !!!

The money bombs of November 5th and December 16th both requested $100 donations, and each day ended with an average donation of $102.

The January 21st money bomb requested $10, and the average donation for the day was $75.

I'd call that a rousing success.

Please keep these numbers in mind if you see comments in the media that try to downplay the MLK tally. Some of them might interpret it as a dimming of enthusiasm for the campaign; it is up to us to politely set the record straight.

it seems appropriate to be happy with the situation as it exists, having faith that in the larger scheme of things, everything is exactly as it is supposed to be. Thank you, Lord, for the blessings for which we are all grateful!

Ron Paul's peace chest suddenly just got more substantial. Committed and uncommitted votors as well as his fellow candidates' current supporters will continue to become more educated on honest money, liberty, a free market economy, reduced national debt and following the Constitution.

The ethical independent media, as well as individuals everywhere of any political party who understand the long-term benefits of non-interventionism and a sound fiscal policy, will end up helping to support the general relearning process. America can once more become the beacon of freedom to the world rather than its harsh master. exactly right. The real dogs are showing their colors. The rest are just fleas on the dogs back. When something as important as America's future is on the line, you will see the dogs push through. The fleas are waiting for the big numbers. They're waiting to see who will win. RP was just a fad to some, to the real supporters we know. We know where the real fight lies. But we must know, as dogs, that we must be WOLVES, and then the fleas will ride along. Take heart, Wolves- the rest will join along when it becomes easy- again.

When the MLK money bomb was suggested a lot of people balked and turned the other way. Their reasons are their own. Because of the flight of the bigots I fully expected that we would gain something less than $2 mil. I also believe that the rest of us, who truly believe in liberty can handle the heavy lifting in the long term. The key to this campaigh will still be individual canvassing. People talking to people. This is how we introduce the Doctor to the nation and encourage them to donate to the campaign. Will we be as successful at raising money as the well oiled machines of some of our rivals? No, but it makes no difference. There is still the possibility of winning the convention and the general election in November regardless of who gives and how much as long as we have far more boots on the ground than the others.

The freedom movement is just now gaining a bit of steam after decades in hiding. Now is our time.

The masses don’t need a money bomb just focus, the drive should be to give the camping 20 mill by super Tuesday no one day event just all out support when ever possible keep the goal in the discussion and people will follow the progress and keep giving. Remind people instead of buying that star bucks or six pack to just donate today just for today and the next time they go to buy that cup of over priced coffee they will remember that under priced donation was a much better buy . 20 mill buy super tues. or bust. And even if we don’t make it we can say we tried and enjoyed the ride. 17 MILL TO GO CAN YOU DO IT .

Other candidates are all campaigning and unable to do much fund raising. A $2M infusion gives RP a competitive advantage and also shows the media that the revolution is alive and well. Today is another great day for us!

it is a good number but compared to what was raised before it looks little.
I wish it was much more ESPECIALLY WE ARE VERY CLOSE TO SUPER TUSDAY, THE CAMPAIGN NEEDS THE MONEY NOW. On the other hand I think people are donating really generously with whatever they can afford.
I dont think big financial institution will help but citizens with good income like some doctors & lawyers may do.

Exceeded expectation. And the good thing is, it's still coming in at about the rate it was just before midnight.

I was expecting 30K donations with about 3-4K new donations and total upto 3 million.
In literal sense we made it about 80% there in total donations and 65% in terms of total money...but look at the number of new donations! The number of new donations was 150% of my expectation. And that is very, very promising.

I expect 75-100K days from now with about 250 new donations everyday.

between 1.5 and 2 mil so it's right in line with what I expected based on how things have gone. There has been some disapointment obviously concerning how the election has been going. There is the issue of voter fraud where many people feel like why bother donating their hard earned money when there is apparent fraudulent activity. There is also the issue of disapointment with the Official Campaign on several fronts. One being the lousy advertisements.......they just do not appear to be top grade at all. The campaign isn't taking advantage of a lot of the creativity found on the internet that made Ron Paul famous. The campaign has also made some blunders as far as strategy goes........wasting time, effort, offices, money.......in SC which took away from 3 extra offices in NV and extra campaign visits by Ron Paul himself and better organization.......those things combined could have placed Paul in 1st place in NV and it looks like the campaign is making the same mistake with Maine. Maine is there for the taking but Paul needs to be there a lot earlier than the rest of them to claim it. So far there is no mention of Paul going to Maine. In my opinion.......if this campaign wants more money from the grassroots then they need to figure out how to win Maine.

Each money bomb we've had was rolling well into 12am est. I posted an idea to start at 12 pacific or central... Look at the #s things didn't get rolling until about 4am East anyway and Money is still coming in now (11:15 Central) but wont be counted in our MLK bomb.
