What does $85,000,000,000 a month look like?

All the money being printed by Ben Bernanke is electronic. Just numbers on a screen. But what if we had to do it old-school, with printing presses and paper?

I did a bunch of math, after visiting the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, and determined that if our Treasury did nothing but print Hundos all day and all night, we could just about make it.

After churning out over 15,000 pallets of Benjamins, and running like a top Toyota factory, they could meet their production targets.

Of course, they've got some new printing presses on the way. I wish I were kidding.
