30 killed in Afghan Wedding Party; U.S. Bomb Missed Target

Just another day in Afghanistan, at least 120 people were killed or wounded by an errant bomb.

Will we have a full investigation and will those involved feel the power of justice? Doubtful

and here in the U.S. everyone is upset about 3 dead in Boston--

what the television focuses on . . . the people will see.

Bombs go off in Iraq

It happens monthly... since 2003.

This occured the same day as Boston but gets no coverage.

Iraq deadly bombings hit Nasariyah, Kirkuk and Baghdad: "At least 31 people have been killed and more than 200 others wounded in a series of early-morning explosions in cities across Iraq, officials say."

Excellent post - even if it is 10 years old.

Where was the outrage after this???

Sure as hell not in the United States.

We were too busy watching "Dancing With the Stars" to give a shit about some backward Afghanis.

"Oh well" we said.

"Oh well"

I get the point of your post and I applaud it.

While the point is valid

This is over a decade old. There were news stories about it, though it was dismissed as collateral damage. I'm not trying to make light of it, but it is not competing news with the Boston bombing.

That's my point exactly.

Tragic, yes. But I feel like the other readers here are being misled into thinking that this just happened yesterday. It didn't.

True that!

True that!

I have a question

Why I get to hear about this from the Daily Paul and not from so called mainstream media outlets?

Is the blood of Afghan civilians cheaper than American blood?

Thanks for posting this here.

Yes. If it were equal we would not label killed and maimed civilians as "collateral damage". We would call it a human tragedy and US voters would have stopped the carnage a long time ago.

That means 90 were also wounded in Afghanistan.

They told the local Pashtu service of the BBC at least 120 people had been either killed or wounded.

How to put what happened in Boston into the proper perspective? With the Afghanistan bombing, we already know who perpetrated that terrorist action. With the bombing in Boston, we are already suspicious that it was the same government terrorists of the homegrown variety. With each, the agenda is the same and that is to terrorize the population into submission and get rid of some in the process. Mission accomplished.

one of the differences

one of the differences between the two parties involved

boston vs drone strike

one has imunity backed by a subconcience and real threat of force...

if this story is confirmed, then let them decide how much we should shove this in their face, on the bases of how much they shove boston in our face.....and then sit back and view hypocrasy at work

i do not want to belittle these deaths in my frustration, but i do want to see justice for those deaths ignored.....like that can ever bring them back, no, the only thing we have is punishing those who would create more deaths through the same methods uncontested.

yup, even midst the possible False Flag Boston Marathon

however unfortunate and inhumane both incidents maybe, regardless of the origin of the machinations and culprit behind both attacks, in terms of tragic body count, blowback, callousness, and sheer frequency and the helplessness of the drone strikes, it kinda puts it all into perspective doesn't it?

When will humans all simply stop murdering each other?

Rhetorical...still, doesn't stop one from wishing for a better human future.

so sick of all the death and mayhem.

sickening. so sickening.

Love to all, y'all.

Oh yes, justice will be felt.

It will just happen at some future event like today was probably based on some past "event".

Today, 30 extended Afghan families, maybe 500 people that were created, who will hate the "great satan" America for the rest of their lives.

The incident happened eleven years ago. Why are you posting it today?
