In Boston, this was more than a Hockey game. 17,565 Sing National Anthem.

Rene Rancourt, the Boston Bruins’ iconic anthem singer, delivered perhaps the most memorable performance of his career Wednesday night. It lasted about 15 seconds. At that point in his rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Rancourt let the microphone drift away from his lips. The crowd – who came to smile, to cheer, to weep, to be – knew instantly what the gesture meant. On this night, of all nights, the song and its message did not belong to one man.

And so the city stood in soulful carol, Rancourt conducting the full-throated chorus of 17,565, in one of the most moving scenes I’ve witnessed – sports or otherwise. I coaxed the words out, too. Barely. Turns out it’s hard to cry and sing at the same time.

Hockey? Yes, the Bruins lost to the Buffalo Sabres, 3-2, in a shootout at TD Garden. The result mattered. The game mattered more. Bruins coach Claude Julien had remarked how, even as people walked the streets Wednesday morning, the city was quiet. “It’s different,” he said. And it was. Wednesday night was different, too, but in the most wonderful way. This was a city, a region and a country at their best.

So a bunch of retards know the words the the national anthem. So they sing praises to an apostate country that can't even follow it's own constitution much less Scripture that their founding fathers supposedly believed in. I'm not impressed at all.

Totally Impressed

( NOT )

You stand up for 2 mins in a sport complex and sing your country national anthem ( I'm impressed they knew the words ) and I'm to think this is some kind of heroic effort.
DO they even know the first amendment to the Constitution for the United states?
Do they understand NON aggression foreign policy ?
Do they have even a basic understanding of the Federal Reserve ?
Do they know the names of any of their representatives in the state or federal congress ?
Did they vote for the ( Lesser of two evils ) in the last 2 elections ?
Do they understand that our most basic civil liberties are in the most terrible jeopardy ?

I got to get to work now - to bad I don't have any disposable income to go beer myself up for 2 hours and watch a bunch of grown men stake up and down the rink for a hour chasing a black hunk of plastic

... I weep for my republic

Life is a sexually transmitted disease with a 100% fatality rate.
Don't Give me Liberty, I'll get up and get it myself!

And you know what's in the hearts and minds of everyone

Reminds me of the B-B! B-B! chant in 1984 or something.
