Massive march in Argentina in defense of the Republic

The Argentinian government is trying to, what they call, "democratize" the justice system and terminate the little tiny bit of republic we still have.

The reason why they are trying to do this is to cover their ass once they lose the power. Cristina Kirchner, her family and friend have stolen about 10 BILLION DOLLARS in the last years. They had been moving money to European bank accounts for years and now a brave journalist has published everything and has put them under the spotlight.

Cristina Kirchner can get Asylum ...

In the Falkland Islands.

On a more serious note I have to wonder if the people in the crowd have a different attitude now that they think the Pope has their back.

Start asking questions

Somethings not right..

Where did all those broke ass poor people get the flags and protest paraphernalia?

Did you see the big massive flag, where did it come, nobody in that crowd can afford that sh!t. ok?

Just like Libya, when people waving nice political banners in english they could not afford....somethings not right and there starts to emanate a stink...that smells like CIA intervention.

How do we know the truth about whats going on in that country anymore than someone in that country is told by their own state run media ?

Always question everything.

Here's a Reuters' (terse) blurb:

Here's a Reuters' (terse) blurb:

http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/04/19/uk-argentina-protes...

"(Reuters) - An estimated 1 million Argentines marched on Thursday in one of the biggest anti-government protests in years, highlighting public anger over a deteriorating economy and President Cristina Fernandez's efforts to reform the media and courts.

The demonstration in the capital, Buenos Aires, was peaceful and appeared to be composed primarily of the middle class. Many banged pots and pans in a traditional Latin American form of protest, while others carried signs with slogans such as "Argentina, wake up!" and "Corrupt Cristina."

ok?

And those shops. Nobody in Argentina can afford to shop in stores. And it looks like a modern city. Nobody in Argentina can afford to live in a modern city with cars and electric lights. ok?

Next thing you know they'll tell us they have running water.

Nice to laugh of late

Good one Smudge, I'm laughing reading it.
Argentina is NOT a third world country. Read the Pope called it one and almost choked on my coffee. The people are not, as a whole, poor. Better off than we are now I'm sure. Lovely, friendly people!

Deekey

Printed Signs

The printed signs with the same font over and over on multiple signs is what caught my eye. I was not thinking it through as much as you however.

Viva la Argentina!
