To the Minions of Alex Jones

Are there any terrorists in the world or is every single act of terrorism a plot by the New World Order?

And, if there are no terrorists, then how can any of you be a Ron Paul fan when Ron Paul believes that 9-11 was a terrorist attack. Does anybody remember when Ron Paul took on Rudy Giuliani by saying 9-11 was a derivative of our foreign policy? Kind of proves that he doesn't believe Dick Cheney did it, doesn't it?

That being said, I ask the question again. Are there any terrorists out there?

Are Ron Paul and the rest of us still "sleeping?"

You are in a dream land....

You are in a dream land.... Show me one person who believes every single terrorist incident is directed by the government.

answer: Libya alCIAda flags flying over the cities after we back the over throw of the government.

US government is funding Terrorist acts in Pakistan. Just a few weeks ago 11 kids killed by US Drone strike. The total of kids killed is in the hundreds.

Maybe ...

Premise: Government has done a shitload of evil.
Premise: Government seeks to cover up the evil it does.
Premise: Government is not a reliable source of truth.
Premise: If there is any evil and it smells like shit government may have had prior knowledge, complicity, or worst case involvement.
Premise: Government employs people who will use guns on anyone at anytime.

Conclusion: Classified Top Secret

Where do all of these nut jubs get off ...

it's not like benevolent government had anything to do with MK-ULTRA, Operation Mockingbird, Watergate, Manhattan Project, Tuskegee experiments, Operation Northwoods, Iran-Contra Affair, Gulf of Tonkin, and were just getting started. Waco, Oklahoma bombing, Ruby Ridge, recent gun smuggling to Mexico, HSBC not getting prosecuted for laundering, bailouts, overthrowing governments, and a whole plethora of other shit. Seriously what the hell is wrong with these nutjobs. It's like they don't want to trust a benevolent government running a Social Security program that has spent all the money. We have to have government run courts where everyone in the court room is getting paid to be there because you are the one being looted and doing the paying. How could I forget about being groped anytime one flies? What other government provides a courtesy stroking of your private parts? Dam, these nut jobs just don't appreciate all of the benefits of tyranny. What other countries will feed and house you for victimless crime? To top it off government takes care of you from cradle to grave and you get to keep some of your money! It doesn't get any better than that, what is wrong with these nut jobs? Did I mention the official story for 9/11 is horseshit? Did I mention the Kennedy assassination official story stinks to high heaven? Did I mention any random acts of kindness from a drone missile strike? Keeping people safe is hard work and costs a lot of money. These nut jobs just sound like free riders bitching about what everyone else loves paying for ...

When the AJ crowd starts babbling incoherently

I've made my point.

All I asked is for one specific terrorist incident that was directed by the government. I get completely off topic answers, like Gulf of Tonkin, Iraq war lies, Waco and ruby ridge, things that didn't even happen, like operation Northwoods.

No concept of terrorism, much less a reasonable concept of proof.

No wonder we are loosing the 4th amendment.

Again you are putting words

Again you are putting words in the posters mouth... or grouping anyone who questions these events into and Alex Jones group. I didn't notice the poster above mention Alex Jones mentioned? You don't have to be an Alex Jones fan to questions killing and wars.

It's not off topic at all. It

It's not off topic at all. It shows a pattern of deception and murder. We went to war and many died over a government created conspiracy of weapons of mass destruction.

Operation Northwoods was a conspiracy plan that was drafted by some in government and the creators would have gladly carried it out. Military planed to blow up a US airliner and blame it on Cuba. Lucky a few in government put the brakes on. If the president simply would have green lighted it would be in the history books. What would Obama or Bush have done? Again it proves some in government will cross any line.

People have good reason to question government. The military industrial complex that Presidents have warned us about is alive and thriving.

There is a difference

Between saying that you don't trust the government,

and saying they are responsible for essentially every terrorist attack that has happened.

there is healthy skepticism, and there is paranoia. the point is to see the difference.

And so to answer the original OP's question. Yes, there is a lot of terrorism in the world, not connected to the US, or the "new world order".

RE: Healthy Skepticism

Is this so far out in left field it could not be considered remotely accurate?

Premise: If there is any evil and it smells like shit government may have had prior knowledge, complicity, or worst case involvement.

There are three levels wrongdoing 1) prior knowledge and failing to act, 2) complicity such as supplying weapons, or 3) some other direct involvement.

No one likes to get their hands dirty and I would consider option #3 a last case scenario. Clearly the name of the game is using prior knowledge and complicity to influence others to help achieve ones goals to keep their hands clean. Knowledge is power.

I am still waiting for a definition of what constitutes a terrorist. Is the definition of a terrorist an entity who initiates aggression? Isn't that already considered a crime? Isn't the United States government already the biggest criminal in the world who initiates the most aggression? Is the definition of a terrorist one who initiates aggression for a belief? Aren't people who initiate aggression doing it because of some belief? What does a belief have to do with the fact initiating aggression is wrong doing? Is the definition of a terrorist one who initiates aggression for a certain type of belief? What would the purpose of such a definition be? Is it to overlook the fact initiating aggression in and of itself is wrong doing? If aggression is initiated for a government belief it is right but if it is initiated for a non-government belief it is wrong?

An operative definition of terrorism

is an act of violence designed to cause fear in a society or particular group - lynching blacks was an act of terrorism in my view. Violence in war generally is not terrorism, since the goal is forcing compliance of a group rather than making the group afraid - but sometimes it probably is terrorism.

Its true, as soon as you try to assign motive to an act of violence, it gets more difficult to define. revenge vs self defense, hate crimes, insanity, etc. is all really murky and difficult to know for sure.

The other part of terrorism is that it has to be intended that lots of people see the violence so they are scared and appalled - so the media is complicit in making an event terrorism.
So the Boston Marathon is terrorism, while some of the horrible Home invasion/multiple execution crimes are not.

Anyway, the one thing I would add to your list of wrong doing, is that it is difficult to tell if #1 is wrongdoing or incompetence. The government seems pretty incompetent. Incompetence is probably the most common and the least evil of the explanations.

RE: #1

I do not disagree with the statement of incompetence. I find it difficult to buy in some prior events. Take Iraq, clearly some people know there were no weapons of mass destruction. Take Pearl Harbor, same kind of fraud perpetuated by some people who knew something. We are not talking about commoners with prior knowledge but people in positions of power.

On a side note and in general, I have a problem with #1 because I do not think doing nothing is wrong. I only subscribe to the notion possessing prior knowledge and doing nothing is wrong if you are government because government is supposed to have a duty and obligation to protect life, liberty, and property. It would seem at a minimum government has an obligation to notify even if no other action is taken.

That's not even the half of it.

One of my favorite post ever!

Nut Job #165

Right on... I was hoping to

Right on... I was hoping to inspire a good write up with a longer list!

It would be nice to have a verfied list

that can be easily referred to. I am certain it would be a long list.

That could be a great video

That could be a great video project for someone good with production.

I feel ya bud..

There is no winning with conspiracy theorists. Its like.. I feel you guys.. I really do. I just come to DailyPaul for news and activism. The conspiracy stuff gets overwhelming for what the purpose of the DailyPaul is...

Just my .02c

If it gets too much, take a break. Just dont forget about the midterms that are coming up. We need you around here.

.02¢ < 1¢. You meant to say "2¢"

...Sorry, I had to do it :)

typing wizard I am not grasshoppa...

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

downvoted for telling the 'truth'.

How ironic.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

"I just come to DailyPaul for

"I just come to DailyPaul for news and activism."

and you find that in post about conspiracy?

Much like the one you created titled:

We sure are a paranoid bunch...

one more thing.. dick.

finish the comment.. don't be a leftard and cut the part of the script that fits your agenda...

'The conspiracy stuff gets overwhelming for what the purpose of the DailyPaul is...'

And yes.. to older folks like me that fought through two elections, witnessed the media black out, the party bullshit and still remained... the DailyPaul was founded around the candidacy of Ron Paul and has remained committed to his beliefs and ideals.

While you can downvote this all you want, at least I am respectful of your point of view. Democracy on full display.

Long live the Republic.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

LOL that is the full

LOL that is the full sentence. Just showing your interest appear to be about controlling conspirist much more than the news.

Yes your name calling is so much better for the movement than those crazy conspirist. lets all follow your example... Walk up to a Romney supporter hey "dick" voting for Romney is like "fing a donkeys" (or whatever you rant was). I would guess you lost as many supporters as the loud mouths. Grow Up and learn how to debate. You don't win the idea battle by calling people names and cursing.

right on..

You just inspired a soul. May I personally thank you.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Were you even a member before the election?

Dude.. You have no idea what long time members of DP and RPF have gone through.

When an election is going on.. there is plenty of news and activism. When the elections are over.. there are to many conspiracy posts!

Dont believe me...?

Lets see how this site lights up when Amash runs for Senate.. or what direction Ron wants to take the Liberty movement during the run up to it. While the conspiracy folks are always going to post.. when an election is going on, their voice isn't nearly as loud.

Would you like for me to describe to you how disruptive, combative and disrespectful the 'truther' movement was at our meetings? Would you believe they consistently freaked out people by yelling and screaming '9/11 was an inside job!!!'

Let me tell ya.. as a member since 07.. and a meetup group leader.. it fkn sucked donkey ass multiplied by herpes.. times ten.

So buddy.. lighten up. I also wrote that front page post, Define: Tolerance

I understand the conspiracy folks want a voice and welcome them to the debate.. just realize.. its a fkn debate. Your faith doesn't mean you automatically win.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

That's great. I think I might retire. The above is much better than I am at this.

I see their actions made the

I see their actions made the "Liberty" look bad? Is your reply full of unfit language the example they should follow? Does that help the liberty?

Yep and six months before it broke out if someone would have been posting one of the highest offices in the country was conspiring to hand out guns to drug gangs would have you told them to be quite? Would have they been making the liberty look bad?

Liberty will always look very good and very bad at the exact same time. You get to say, do, and believe what you want. The down side is so does everyone else.

Not that it matters but, I am not down or up voting your reply or post.

I see their actions made the "Liberty" look bad?

No man.. It was their fanaticism that scared the shit out of regular folks. Conspiracy is a lot like religion. A whole lot of people believe it, but it doesn't make it true!!!

Tolerance is paramount in situations like this. I have repeatedly said why I understand the need for these posts, it doesn't mean I must subscribe to those beliefs. A healthy DEBATE is awesome. It clears the air and gets to the bottom of things. When one side shouts down the other, it accomplishes next to nothing. The 51% feel good they beat the other guy... but in all actuality if nothing is debated, who gives a shit who won?

Their actions made them look bad, but by attaching themselves to our movement they scared off a bunch of potential allies. Does that make sense?

If the conspiracy folks could tone down their rhetoric and accept debate, then we could move forward.. TOGETHER.

Again, the binding force is Liberty.

Invoke a bit of tolerance and less hostility to those that disagree and see the tree of Liberty blossom without any patriot blood.

Grouping everyone as

Grouping everyone as "conspirists" won't accomplish your goals... Dig around the Doctor speaks of individuals.

Yes I can see a few loud mouths raining on the parade. To bad everyone doesn't do as Ron preaches and judge the individuals.ie: Yes a few loud ones in the corner but, look at all these other bright, motivated, liberty loving people I want to be a part of this.

Take some of your own tolerance prescription with the "conspirists".

You are often speaking like every person is a radical, much like the Muslim is often portrayed. I'm sure a majority of these people (both "groups") are balanced.

Grouping everyone under the same philosophy..

can change the world.

Im not a genius. I just believe in this message.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Respecting every ones

Respecting every ones individual liberty can change the world in a much better way.

Who's philosophy? Hilter, Obama, Bush, Republic, democratic, Libertarian? Philosophy is like opinions and everyone has one. So who's will we be stuck with?

That is what is wonderful about Liberty room for all as long as it follows the golden rule!
