update, breaking, Mother Says FBI had Contact w/ Brother

Mother of suspect says FBI maintained contact with older brother

The mother of the two Boston bombing suspects said in an interview with RT that FBI agents had maintained contact with her older son during a period of years before the Marathon bombing.

After initially denying it, the FBI has confirmed that it interviewed the brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, in 2011, after the Russian government warned the FBI that he had turned to extremist radicalism.

"For 3 to 5 years they knew what my son was doing," said Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, speaking to Russia Today's Kevin Owen. The distraught mother said repeatedly that her sons had been "set up." The mother told Owen:

“They used to come [to our] home, they used to talk to me…they were telling me that he [the older, 26-year-old Tamerlan] was really an extremist leader and that they were afraid of him. They told me whatever information he is getting, he gets from these extremist sites…"

The FBI admitted on April 19th that a "foreign government" told it that:the 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev:

"was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country’s region to join unspecified underground groups."

The statement is posted in a press release at the FBI's official website. Two unnamed law enforcement sources told the Associated Press that the warning came from the Russian FSB intelligence security service. The FBI admission portrays the intelligence tip as a "request for information."

The FBI initially denied contacting the older brother. The mother says that the FBI "counseled" her older son, even as they told her that they were "afraid" of him, and that he had fallen in with extremist elements.

A CBS report on the interview noted that the mother said that the FBI "knew what he was doing on Skype" and that they counseled him "every step of the way."

Soon after the tip, in 2012, Tamerlan Tsarnaev traveled to Chechnya for six months, as the Russian intelligence tip predicted.

Chechnya is a region known for particularly brutal and indiscriminate political violence. In 2004 over 300 people, mostly children, died in an attack on a school attributed to Chechen separatists. The mother's assertions contrast sharply with previous reports that the FBI's investigation of the older Tsarnaev had been quickly "put to bed," although the FBI statement seems to indicate that the matter was left open when it "requested but did not receive more specific or additional information" from the foreign government.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

This blows the lid off everything.

This could take down Obama, and even blow open the whole subject of false flags and 9/11 truth. It's a small step from the gov knowing about these guys to possibly another entrapment gone "wrong," meaning someone substitutes the dude bombs at the last minute with the real thing.

It could take down Obama if enough in the fed gov have the stones to run with it.

Judging by the article at least 2 law enforcement sources

stepped forward to talk to AP and/or Reuters to leak the story and confirm request came from Russian intelligence. The FBI at first denied the story.

At least two patriots decided they're not taking this laying down, perhaps taking a big chance. The story should be disseminated widely in honor of this risk. Was the Marathon too much? Are the patriots coming out of the woodwork?
