Thanks to all who have posted.

Sounds like it's not worth the risk to my health or my wallet (~ $47.00 a bottle).

The glasses that they sell are made of glass. And I could get those and drink my CooranBong from them and be set. ;-)

The bottle itself is cool but the Vodkas nothing to write home about.

Yeah. I tried it. Nothing

Yeah. I tried it. Nothing special about it except the bottle, which is damned cool. Good vodka, not great.

Yeah, I could see using

Yeah, I could see using these bottles as candle holders!

That's a great

idea!! Skull candle holders would be great for Halloween. I think I need hubby to bring home a few empties. Thanks, I never would've thought of that.

The bottles are great.

But when I watched the video on their site about how the bottles are made in Italy, that heightened my concern that the money might go into making the bottles, not the vodka.

Thank you.

I appreciate your review. If you said it was nectar of the gods, then I might risk it. But if it is good and not great, I'll stick with my potato and grape vodkas.

I agree that the bottles are cool. The little skull glasses would be fun as well.

My husband runs a bar

and brought some home awhile back, I think it used to be called Crystal Skull. He brought home the shot glasses and they're pretty cool but ours are plastic because they were point of sale give away items, I think the ones they sell are glass. The vodka is good not exceptional.

I just KNEW Herkimer's were good for something!

I've been tempted to buy one

I've been tempted to buy one because the bottle is cool, I'm not sure how much, but Dan Akroyd is involved with this product in some way. I have heard from a couple people that the Vodka is not very good.

Interesting

Of course they claim it's super double-secret fantastic vodka. I have wondered if the money all goes into the making of the bottle. At the same time, they won 1st in a competition with 400 vodkas in Moscow this year. And it can be had in 50mL bottles for one to sample.

My problem is that as I am grain intolerant, and this vodka is made from corn, which is one that is awful for me, so I'm not sure I should risk it. Some say grain vodkas are safe for those like me, some say not.

Just today I read this...

"Some producers add a little bit of mash back into the spirit after distillation..."

From Tito's - http://titosvodka.com/faq/another-ask-tito/

This could be why some grain vodkas are problematic, and some not. Hmm...
