DIY-CSI: Why do we do it?

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I'm a Do It Yourself Crime Scene Investigation.(DIY-CSI)

Using a computer to analyze data is a very common practice in CSI work. Sometimes I feel like Magnum PI, Rockford, and Abby in NCSI.

We've all been brought up learning from the Private Investigator and all the CSI TV shows. I'm sure many of us have learned many critical thinking skills from watching those instructional shows. They wonder why so many of us are DIY-CSI. I would think law enforcement should welcome us DIYCSIers trying to help them out getting to the facts of the crime fast. Crowd Sourcing is Very Efficient.

New terminology meme I invented to combat the derogatory terminology.

I changed the "Chemtrail" meme to "Geo-Engineering" because of the derogatory and pejorative psychological connotation. I started working on that about 18 months ago and now it's really catching on.

I'm now changing the "Conspiracy Theorist" meme to "DIYCSIers", Do It Yourself Crime Scene Investigators. What's wrong with that?

Whenever you're called the derogatory term, just say I'm DIYCSI pronounced dysy. If everyone did this we could change the nature of the conversation.

You know why I like DIY-CSI?

It keeps my brain active, it makes me use and exercise my critical thinking skills, and it's fun.

Why do you like DIY-CSI? Why do you do it, and you know you do?

Edit:
People please, when you're documenting current events, Please make the effort to lift up the screen in your window and turn your smartphone sideways when filming. Please.

And remember, your photographs and videos have a time/date stamp on them. Please have the right time zone on your recording devices and post the exact time and date you took the images when uploading to websites.

I mean, this is DIY-CSI 101, really.

When you right click the image on your computer when your device is attached, scroll down and click Properties, you see the time and date the image was taken. All that information is right there. Alex Jones should do a DIY-CSI 101 class on this.

You have my permission to use "DIY-CSI 101" Alex Jones. I am the inventor of that terminology. And it's time/date stamp documented on the Internet and Daily Paul forever, if you have a doubt.

Can't seem to make that password...

work for me would love to see these photo galleries. Did it change to another password?

Wow. Those are a great

Wow. Those are a great sequence of photos. I had to use my DIY-CSI computer skills to open a new page copy and paste the link and password to get to the important data on that page for my own personal analysis. I also used my computer skills to figure out I can use the zoom feature on the individual high-res photos. The DIY-CSI photographer did a great job too. You can get a good sense of where the center of the bomb blast took place on the sidewalk about 1/3 of the way off the street and where people have been blown out of. Using that information, we can compare pictures and video from that exact location to find a photo of the person placing the bomb there.

"Fascinating" is a good reason for doing it.

i prefer 'smoke trail'

and there are lesser 'smoke trail' actions coming from upper left corner
