If we hear "this is a drill" it means the event will be allowed to happen and what transpires next is the "drill." The "drill" in Boston was to see how easily Americans allow the goon squads into their homes without probable cause and search warrants signed by a judge and just how many people they could drag out of their houses and detain. All the while citizens applaud and shout, USA USA USA...
Many people living in Boston and surrounding areas are idiots. You don't applaud and yell, USA USA USA when what is happening is nothing more than British soldiers writing their own warrants, the writ of assistance, searching your homes and detaining you, all under "color of law." What "color of law?"
If the Feds can use local police to shut down Boston, what's next? New York? Los Angeles? Austin? My guess is Chicago.
it like it really is, and those who say he doesn't get things right are mistaken. He may be a little off on the time period of his trend predictions, but they do pan out. Nobody can predict things in economics with all the tricks used by the Fed and the other BIS banks to keep the bubble going. Their agenda has been thrown off by us and the alternative media exposure of their plans, which has in turn changed the time frame of the trends. However, instead of changing direction, they are only making the eventual outcome much worse, which will lead to a greater catastrophe when the bubble finally bursts.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford
Is one of my favorites. He also makes me laugh. Very entertaining and well aware of what is wrong with this Country.
...while all the "other" sock puppet predictors/analysts are "conspicuously absent" when it's clearly time to ask:
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE ???!!!!!
A BIG "BRAVO" to Gerald Celente....head and shoulders above the rest!
"Beyond the blackened skyline, beyond the smoky rain, dreams never turned to ashes up until.........
...Everything CHANGED !!
I'm so sick of these I-don't-know, I'm-just-saying pontificators. Calling the press prostitutes doesn't legitimize Celente's remarks. Neither does showing clips and blabbering about how he would have done it differently. Neither does having such a loose grasp of U.S. history that he thinks the law enforcement reaction in Boston is some big sea change.
I'm sick of these doom and gloomers like Celente. Oh, woe is America, woe is me. Woe. Woe. I'm sick of woe-speak. I'm sick of the whole lot of thinking that confuses the love of freedom with some petty need to get back. I'm sick of the "I'm scared live free because then I wouldn't have something to bitch about." Celente and the rest of the them -- passe.
I'm with you. Even though I agree with what most, if not all, say about the state of things, it's not helping.
If I want to hear someone complain, I'll just talk to myself, I don't need these talking puppets, who may or may not have an agenda, telling me how I should feel.
I've been here too long, I'm sick and tired of it.
You stunk the place up!
Now, go back and stick your fat head back into the sand.
Go back behind your door, pull the shades down low, and hope the gestapo doesn't come for you. You behave like a good little sheep and question nothing, ok?
YOU are what makes me sick to my stomach that the rest of us have to speak up and fight for you.
Everything is fine. Move along. Nothing to see here.
its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
Star wars: this is how liberty dies, with applause.
I used to love me some Celente, especially around 2008 when he became popular on this website.
Then you know what happened? I discovered the guy has been WRONG about everything! Every single call he has been wrong.
You know who else has been completely WRONG?
Pastor Lindsey Williams
The list goes on and on....
(I'll leave AJ off this list because I never heard him make a prediction.)
Yes, I agree that both sides make bad calls, but you cannot listen to folks that predict one side over and over and over again and expect your life to be better somehow.
I think the best mind out there is Marc Faber. Even though he has made some wrong calls, he has made some great ones too and he keeps an open mind. You need an open mind people or you will die hungry, broke and dumb!
i agree with you,,,, and you will take much heat for saying it
but peter schiff has been screaming the same thing for years now and well......
i realized that gov't is playing games and manipulating,,,,, and i realize no one knows,,, it may be 2 years,,, it may be 20 years,,,,,, or we may just slowly trudge on and up ever so slowly
but peter schifff and c elente with the yelling and predicting mass doom any day now,,,, well 5 years on you become the boy that cried wolf
while everybody cried buy gold,,,, and i have silver and gold,,,,, you could have also made some good money on stocks as well
and yes by the fundamentals of free markets, fiat,,,, credit expansion, money printing ,,, gov't spending we're doomed
but how long
and b4 we collapse japan has to go,,,, way worse balance sheets,,,, now doubling the currency and the population, age demographics
they have to go down first
I dont think of it as predictions as much as I do a warning. A warning to the few good people left out there.
Huh? The man's entire business model is based on predictions... you know "Trends Research?"
Was he wrong about?
The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson
he deserves all the credit for that call,,, but
since then hyperinflation bonkers,,, wall to wall and where is it???/
many traders, wall st guys make tremendous one off calls and never get another right
that list would be long
greenspan was god until he wasn't
people also bring up his -schiff,funds returns and theyre not all that great
can't quote numbers but seen it mentioned often
Ha ha! I've been following Schiff a long time, pal, he's had one shining moment and that's it.
But I dont agree with you about Gerald Celente.
He made some tough calls that were right and some calls that were wrong.
For example civil unrest in Greece, Spain, and Portugal.
I agree with you if you only focus on his economic calls.
In my opinion Marc Faber and Mish Shedlock make call at a rate above chance. Max Keiser and James Rickards are about chance (Rickards has stopped making short-term predictions lately). Schiff and others are below chance.
That said they all operate with the same fundamental analysis. Its just that only Faber, Rickards, and Shedlock seem to understand the power of monetary policy
Don't you think the predictions are accurate based on "what should be". The Keynesian mindset and power block have altered the playing field. There is no free market... no predictions are valid because the agenda in play will not allow it? Why is the market not reflecting all the gold buying going on in the world...going on everywhere but North America...Am I wrong on this? What is manipulating the market? The one I trusted the most was Bob Chapman and he is gone...
It's going on in North America too. The Mint saw another record month for both gold and silver American Eagles.
I guess I'm not alone
then why isn't the market reflecting this?
I always worried about this when ETFs started to become popular. Paper gold, gold where you have a promise of an amount of gold instead of actually taking possesion, is easy to manipulate. All you have to do is sell the promise for the same gold to multiple people to make it appear that there is more than there actually is. Since there is no shortage in the supply of empty promises, the high demand for empty promises is easily covered. The paper gold market is much bigger than the physical market so this is where you manipulate the price. As more people continue to demand physical possesion, the price will begin to be set by the physical market.
Thumbs up! You get it. Mish and Faber are two of my favorites, not because I like how they scream--which they don't--but because their track record speaks volumes not their big mouths.
But Celente has made some horrible calls about global uprising that included the US that never happened. I don't have time to find them now, but will later. Oh and it's April, and Keiser's call is almost expired, but I'm sure he's back petaled by now....
yup love mish,,, and market ticker denninger,,,,, he points out the basics in easy to read terms and facts
also like naked capitalism,,,, learn tons in the comments,,,,, don't agreee with the MMT theory but respect bill black and the in depth exposure of fraud,,,,, and i learn more reading opposing views than those i agree with,,, challlenging my beleiefs and maybe learnin a new take on something
Why? "challlenging my beliefs." This right here is what it's all about. This is something that these Alex Jones fanboys don't get. They think just because they watch AJ that they are thinking outside of the box and it's quite disturbing.
I love AJ's platform, but I take everything with a grain of salt. As an individual, I will challenge everything, mainstream or alternative.
I don't want to be right!
How about, You are wrong.
Everybody is wrong except bigsurjane?
bigsurjane is right and everybody else is wrong. BS!
Hey, I like some of them. Mike Adams is awesome when it comes to health, but very bad at predicting economic events.
I am an individual. You and your Conspiracy collective are a dangerous bunch... You need to gather your peeps and go run off to the woods because you are a danger to this site and the liberty movement. We do not want to change one nut-job collective for another....
My "conspiracy collective"? Surely, you jest. I am not buying into ANY conspiracy that says these two brothers acted alone without the knowledge of the fbi.
My "conspiracy collective" is NOT buying into the theory that Bostonian's rights where not trampled under Martial Law. Hell no, I'm not buying into any of that crap that you support.
What is more dangerous, my questioning attitude or your, "lay down and lick the boots of the jack-booted thugs", attitude?
Dangerous to this site? Me?
You don't support this site. You only seek to disrupt it. Take out a membership, you cheap bastard.
Where did you change, bigsurjane?
I just read through 5 pages of your past posts and they are nothing like this one where you accuse others of being "conspiracy collective" and "truthers". In fact, many of your previous posts offer a completely different view of yourself as you stuck up for 911 truth and many of those you disrespect now. I thought we agreed on many levels in the past but now I question everything you say. I encourage everyone to study your history here and then ask themselves, "what happened"?
Looking at your past posts, you could have been me. Now, WE'RE conspiracy collectivists? hmmmmmmm
At least the guys you disrespect have the guts to get into the arena and give their best analysis. You? You throw rocks.
You obviously didn't read my posts very well.
Let me tell you again I AM A 911 TRUTHER!!! As an American I want justice!!!
BUT, I refuse to jump on the bandwagon of every single conspiracy that Alex Jones throws out there... it's getting ridiculous now and it's diluting this movement.
Those idiot brothers are guilty as sin... as well as their little punk friends who claim to be Muslim, but buy into American pop culture, go to school in our Universities, drink, smoke, do drugs, but then shit on our country and its inhabitants.
There are thousands of these little fuckers running around America, all with mommy and daddy's credit card.
I don't even live in the US. I live in a Muslim country, and my eyes are not wide shut!
My point is, the wrong people are using OUR message to further their goals. This has got to stop or we are doomed....
That kind of honesty scares people.
