Puzzling Remark Made by Tom Brokaw About PLANNED 1st Gulf War!

Tom Brokaw was sharing his disgust of what the White House Corresponent's Dinner (WHCD) has become when he made a very interesting remark. See the video at 6:45. Keep in mind that the WHCD is held, traditionally, on the last Saturday in April.

He is speaking about an off-the-cuff conversation he was having with James Baker who, at the time, was the US Secretary of State. Brokaw says he told Baker that he (Brokaw) was planning a vacation for late August of that year, 1990, when Baker replied, "I think you'll be changing those plans".

Considering the fact that the US invaded Iraq, presumably, based on Iraq's invasion of Kuwait (August 1990), how would James Baker know this 3 month's ahead?

Worth knowing? Coincidence? Just thought I'd sahare.

Has anybody got a direct line

Has anybody got a direct line to the we are change guys or project veritas guys? Wouldn't it be interesting to get this mainstream insider hack to explain himself on this then go after James Baker? With,,, "well Tom Brokaw one of Amerika'a most respected news (LOL) men said you suggested he not take a vacation in the lead up to the Gulf war. Can you explain this?"

As these guys get older and being in the bubble for so long I can see how they can be susceptible to forgetting their own lies (or lies by omission) and slipping out small truths in common non confrontational conversations among those that they think actually respect or even idolize their "narcissistic" selves. Project Veritas seems quite good at getting these types to start bragging. I would imagine Baker would be to cool a criminal to get caught, but you never know as they age out what they will say.
