Should fishy run for office?

You all know my politics better than anyone in my neighborhood. What if I changed my mind, decided to give politics one more chance...

I want you to be honest, because I would be honest with the voters. I don't think abortion or marital status are any of the governments business, so I am not "Pro Life" or "pro gay marriage" but I am not "Pro Choice or "anti gay marriage" either. I guess you could say I am anti-marriage, no one should marry the government. And I am old enough to remember when women did not even announce pregnancies until the third month. I like that "keep it in the family" attitude, think it should be extended to the 18th birthday.
I'm not going to pretend I buy the 9-11 official story. Indeed, I'd be demanding to know who ordered the clean up on 9-12 and seek their arrest.

I'm not going to watch ANY tragedy unfold without asking, out loud, who is behind this? And I will ALWAYS look for government involvement in "high profile" events.

I won't play nice with the GOP. The Bushes are traitors, not heroes. Murderous in the extreme, linked to pedophile and human trafficking rings. I'm not going to sing their praises, not even a little.
In general, my platform would be "Vote for me because I don't want the job." I would promote self governance, with the Constitution as the framework for interactions among groups.

My slogan would be "ONLY TRUTH LIBERATES."

So, there you go. What do you think? Would you vote for me? Would you even want me to win, or would you donate to my opposition? Or if you were my neighbor, would you run against me?

You don't have to answer me, but you need to ask yourself. Because this is where we are - divided on issues to the point where we eat our own.

We need someone with the juevos to stand up and call a spade a spade...I would support any office you run for so long as you hold true to what you say youre going to do. The moment u "flip-flop" or deviate to cater to a particular person or group, the support would be gone...

But yes, please, run, and see if you can get some momentum going to get the traitors and oath breakers out of office...

You would only embarrass the liberty movement, especially that Boston Bombing = Inside Job post that you made, and many other of what you alleged to be true, is unproven and at the same time, unpresentable in real politics.

If at least 50% of the voters in where you are running are Alex Jones Followers, then go for it.

even at the city level it's rigged. Sucks but that's the way it is. I try to think in a different paradigm. One that tbtb didn't create. I think Ron Paul has the right idea, educate the kids and wait for that hundredth monkey effect. Just hope we have time.

Your question and thought exercise are moot. I'm not eating my own, and we don't eat our own. There are either thoughts on here that make sense or thoughts that don't. If your thoughts are ludicrous then you get mad and accuse me of taking a second bite. LOL. Don't worry I won't eat you.

Why not start with running for a seat on a committee? Or running for an office in your state on a Ron Paul inspired PAC, Republican Liberty Caucus (Justin Raimondo was the speaker here, but they have officers), for example.

Running as an Indy is very expensive, where a parties can afford many expenses and provide a built in network (including those who work to undermine Indy's and other party candidates).

How about you make a campaign practice speach? Two minute speach on what office and why my chickens should vote for you (they think you are a wolf in fish clothing BTW). I'm just a regular sheeple.. my chickens scratching in Ron Paul on their ballots, I voted Romney to keep my seat, worked hard to get elected to it. GOOD LUCK!!

by running for State Rep like Ron Paul did, or start by running for Governor like Gary Johnson did, or President so I could vote for her! :-)

This morning I woke up with this insight:

So pain is a blessing.

All of that is a preamble, so you get my understanding of my opinion.

No one can make the decision for you. For that you have to look into your heart and make your own choice. Not a decision mind you, a choice. To De-cide is to kill off all the other options until you are left with the one standing. A choice is different. It comes from the inside. From the heart. From the Source.

If you do make that choice fishy, it will be a blessing.

I was "de-sided" for 18 years. No representation, no canddiates but what others gave me.. I was so happy Ron Paul got in the race, but not happy with his being the GOP.. had to cide.. and I'm glad I did.

Thanks for your input. To be honest, it was mostly hypothetical, I was trying to get people to look at the yardstick they use to support politicians. Actually running was the furthest thing from my mind.
If cornered about what religion I practice, I reply "Taoism." It is the anti-de-cide religion - lol! I try to embrace The Way, and allow the path to unfold before me. I posted this while Mark slept in, then did my morning chores and came back. By then, Mark was up and reading the post. Now he is sitting here, seriously discussing if we should give it one more chance...
We shall see where the path leads me. I confess, I am stunned that only one person jumped up to tell me "No." In an odd way, it was the most encouraging post... He did not declare "I'd never vote for someone who is not Pro-Life" of whatever, he used the scatter pattern smear tactic, the one that whiffs of desperation... I dunno. Politics was slimy, nastier than a coop-full of chickens with diarrhea on a hot summer day. But if Mark wades in, I won't leave him to go alone... That'll teach me to ask questions...

some of your posts here at the Daily Paul are seriously marginal in their quality of thought and in their embrace of not very well founded "alleged facts." If you run, you will not even get the support of the liberty movement, just the mommys basement dweller types and alex jones fanatics. You might not even get those because they rarely go outside unless mommy is sick and they have to buy food for themselves and that is rare. So, no, you shouldnt run, and if you do, you will embarass the liberty movement. Instead, try to find some way to educate yourself. Maybe you won't be a complete fricken nutter however, and that might cause you to lose favor at certain websites! LOL

Now assume you are a John Q Public and have never heard of the daily paul, and think ron paul was that nice man who the mainstream media told you was a pacifist who hated jews. Not true mind you. Over 10% of Americans already believe 9-11 was an inside job, and that's without the theory receiving any mainstream media play at all.

I generally accept what is proven, but I don't generally disbelieve something just because it is not proven.

Since Einstein failed with the Unified Theory, I would have to disbelieve portions of the universe since it isn't yet proven.

If we only accepted what was proven, we would never have cracked any conspiracy theories.

The conspiracy theories which turned out to be true, like Vietnam/Pentagon papers, Watergate, Iran/Contra etc.


No one has unified quantum mechanics and relativity yet in any experimentally proven manner, but that does not undo the observations we make in the universe.

Running for office is one way

Running for office is one way to find out how receptive the public is to your ideas. If the time is right, the public may hear your message and you may win.

Locally, I know of at least one candidate who has been running for city council for as long as I've lived in my city. The guy is an out-and-out loon, but he never stops running. One has to admire him for his persistence.
