...who clothes himself in the purity of the Constitution -- according to Dorothy Rabinowitz who sits on the War Street Journal editorial board.

Unequivocable

It is unequivocable that these two are morons.

I stand with Rand, who is the most classical liberal conservative in the Congress.

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

Rand was wrong to say that

Rand was wrong to say that but in the video you have a JEW discussing with another JEW what a CHRISTIAN CONSTITUTIONAL Senator says.

Look at how the Jews vote and you will see. They try to undermine christian societies.

No he wasn't

He actually is a Mr. Smith who goes to Washington country doctor and his point was it doesn't matter what the weapon is.. but to those who discriminate, of course it matters. We have two harpies here attempting to give sound bites, and beef up the war in the GOP between those supporting Rand and those who don't want us in their party.

There are Democrat and Republicans Jews, there are Jews for a NWO and Jews who are not.

The news is no longer news its all opinion

This is horrible the greenwald story above is bad, why do these folks talk in such smart and snarky language? You would think there would be somewhere a reasonable adult conversation about real world issues.

Yup, and here's the PROOF, for those who need it:

Pew Research: Study finds MSNBC is 85% Opinion Commentary, not 'News'! Out-'foxing' FOX!

Submitted by AnCapMercenary on Wed, 03/20/2013 - 16:25

Here's the hilarious part: FauxNews is 'only' 55% in pure Onion opinion commentary! And CNN? 'Only' 46%!

The Changing TV News Landscape

by Mark Jurkowitz, Paul Hitlin, Amy Mitchell, Laura Santhanam, Steve Adams, Monica Anderson and Nancy Vogt of Pew Research Center

The news programs that Americans watch on national cable channels and their local television stations have changed significantly in recent years while the network evening newscasts have remained remarkably stable, according to a new study from the Pew Research Center.

On cable, the news structure of the three channels—the mix of interviews, packaged segments and live coverage—has changed. After relying on significantly distinct formats five years ago, the three rivals now look strikingly similar.

At the same time, some of the differences that demarcated daytime cable from prime time have also eroded in the past five years. Traditionally known for its attention to breaking news, daytime cable’s cuts in live event coverage and its growing reliance on interviews suggest it may be moving more toward the talk-oriented evening shows. This transition may cut the costs of having a crew and correspondent provide live event coverage.

CNN, which has branded itself around reporting resources and reach, cut back between 2007 and 2012 on two areas tied to that brand—in-depth story packages and live event coverage. Even so, CNN is the only one of the three big cable news channels to produce more straight reporting than commentary over all. At the other end of that spectrum lies MSNBC, where opinion fills a full 85% of the channel’s airtime.

Oh they "Lean[-ed] Foward" alright, to pure 100% Edward Bernays & Josef Goebbels la la land!

Not that we 'needed' any hard statistics to prove what all acute political observers have known, but here's just some data to backup what y'all have always intuited.

I immediately thought of that

I immediately thought of that Ohlbermann interview with Janeane Garofalo while watching this video.

if the repuke-lican party continue to shite on Paul ... I may end up voting for him out of spite ... keep it up neocon losers.

whoa!

I don't think I've ever seen such lies trotted out in public. Such obvious out of context, half quoting and such vicious name calling and lying! That's when you know Rand is one of the good guys! Woo Hoo!! Rand, keep it up!

It certainly is right up

It certainly is right up there.

If they'd taken the whole Rand clip, of two sentences or so, it would have put the lie to their whole premise and made Rand's position crystal clear.

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.

From LewRockwell.com

"It is neocons like Dorothy Rabinowitz who are the enemies of constitutional government, and who are responsible for the breeding of endless enemies of Americans with their cheerleading for endless military interventionism that has nothing to do with defending America. It is neocons like Dorothy Rabinowitz who have the blood of thousands of American soldiers who have died in vain on their hands. It is neocons like Dorothy Rabinowitz who are responsible for tens of thousands of American soldiers who came home from Iraq maimed and crippled for life. It is neocons like Dorothy Rabinowitz who now want the U.S. to start another non-defensive war in Iran, a country four times the size of Iraq which, unlike Iraq, actually has a military that can fight back."

Choice of words

The media has had a long history of purposely misinterpreting what a person says.

Chop a little footage here, interpret a sentence on behalf of the politician there.

The problem with the lady up above here on the video - in fact both of them, know exactly their trade and what they are doing. They are of course the very ones manipulating the public. Not Rand. You can provide evidence of this because if they were as intelligent and as informed as they say they are they would have watched all the original footage and clearly understood what Rand had said in the past and recently, matched it up and realised that he hasn't changed his opinion.

Yes as a politician you have to be incredibly careful what you say unless you want it to be front page news. It's nothing really to Rand though, he's pretty smart - this is just batting practice for him and it gets him exposure.

yes ,,, he's getting attacked more and more

but can we at least admit

most of this was self inflicted

the comment---- whether a drone or cops kills him
was an incredibly idiotic and bad choice of words,,, and brought on mst of this saga

words in the media age are very important,,, choose wisely

we like when words expose others we dislike,,, but defend when its our friend

such a unwise choice of words is obviously gonna bring on just what is happening
he kind of got what he deserved,,,

and i'm still a rand fan,,, some days more, some days less

She wrote some pretty nasty

She wrote some pretty nasty (and error-laden) articles about Ron during the campaign, as well. No surprise here.

Couldn't Even

Watch this whole clip.

As a side note...someone (maybe I'll do it myself) needs to come up with a list of stuff that the government was thought "Inconceivable" of doing, so we can end the argument right there.

What a hideous little

What a hideous little goblin.

Liberationist, anti government FRENZY!!!!
More buzz words please.

The republican party's integrity is threatened? This is intended as comedy, right?

Ho ho ho,

Isn't the WSJ

a sister co. to Fox? All owned by the tentacles of Rupert Murdoch? Oh of course they are!
This shill and the dweeb that hosted this lousy interview should hang it up for being the old boring rhetoric that lost the last two presidential elections. With their McCain is the best to beat the democrats, and Romney is the only one that can beat Obama senile mentality!
Rand just keep stirring the pot and make these witches keep cackling.

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Everything the government

Everything the government does IS suspect bro.

The thing that may really haunt Rand's

chance for getting the Presidential nomination, is going to be the ignorant statement about drones. I know many will try to discard his foolish statement, but I know for a fact Dr Paul lost a lot of support when he made a similar statement about the 9/11 Truthers. Many refused to support him in '12, because they felt disrepected, and believed he was standing with the establishment. I myself have some serious problems with his statement, because it's hard to imagine him saying what he did if he didn't have reservations about what he said. I know he recanted his statement, but I'm still not entirely convinced, and will have to see how he treats the coming push for war against Syria with the Iraq-style fraudulent charge of chemical weapons being used by the Syrian government. Anyhow, I thought I would give an example of how Rand brushed people on his drone statement. http://sherriequestioningall.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/rand-pa...

This is straight out of 1984

The 4th and 5th amendments are dangerous and loathsome.
We need more surveillance.
You're an idiot if you question use of drones in America.
If you question government, you're a terrorist.

This is scary. I mean downright scary.

Was this a piece from The

Was this a piece from The Onion?

The two of them really had to do some gymnastics to twist what Rand was saying.

Boy, they are coming after Rand. He must be doing everything right.

If a Republican was president, these two would be complaining about the invasion of civil liberties and the police state.

"Every ounce of surveillance possible...."

Such astounding ignorance parading as profundity!

yea, does she want telescreens in every room?

confirmation rand is the real deal

When the establishment does not accept him, then you know he is good for the country and our civil liberties. He is not a member of the elite, and glorified by fox. I am glad he is an outsider who is on the side of the people. We know she deliberately left out the part when Rand said, If the person is firing back at you, you have the right to defend yourself, and shoot back- weapon of choice. Rand is following the law. It was already established by the media who think they are the judge jury and executioner. the media does not follow the rule of law, they report guilt without a jury and due process.
