"The police department. We're here to search your home. We have information that the people behind what just happened live in this area."
Has that thought run across your mind lately?
What would you do?
Politely tell them to get a search warrant signed by a judge?
Rudely tell them to kiss your royal behind, and go to hell...
Invite the boys in for a cup of coffee so long as they didn't shoot your dog?
Personally, I wouldn't answer the door and pretend nobody was home!
What scares me the most about what happened on April the 15th is how so many people in Boston got their 4th Amendment rights trampled upon by a sweeping police state apparatus because of two SUSPECTS that supposedly used very low tech materials (pressure cookers) to commit an act of murder.
No trial, no jury, no evidence...just conviction based on numerous conflicting reports, and the entire shutdown of a major American city.
Now just imagine this: a nuke goes off in the US.
Based upon what I have seen happen in Boston, a major precedent has been established. The entire country would be locked down.
What happens when they get away with box cutters and pressure cookers?
Ron Paul didn't go too far, the police state did.
"Suspect number one and suspect number two."
Isn't that how the media dubbed them? They were SUSPECTS, and now one is dead and the other has already essentially been convicted in the court of public opinion courtesy of the not so mainstream anymore media.
Is it just me, or does it feel like the entire rule of law rooted in the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights just got thrown into a Reichstag fire?
