FBI Statistics: A pie chart of "domestic terrorists" (Guess how many "right wing extremists")

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

"An FBI report shows that only a small percentage of terrorist attacks carried out on U.S. soil between 1980 and 2005 were perpetrated by Muslims.

According to this data, there were more Jewish acts of terrorism within the United States than Islamic (7% vs 6%). These radical Jews committed acts of terrorism in the name of their religion. These were not terrorists who happened to be Jews; rather, they were extremist Jews who committed acts of terrorism based on their religious passions, just like Al-Qaeda and company.

(Loon Watch also notes that less than 1% of terror attacks in Europe were carried out by Muslims.)"

I think I might make a bumper sticker of this graphic. I'm pretty sick of the Muslim bashing.

(Thanks RPTriber and clynbrit, my first embedded pic!)

That Graph convinces me....

(That statistics from the government are BS propaganda).

Localism is for people who can still sleep at night even though somebody they don't know in a city they have never been is doing things differently. ("Localism, A Philosophy of Government" on Amazon for Kindle or Barnes and Noble ebook websites)

they should have a

they should have a 'terrorists working in cooperation with FBI and CIA' section. It would take up pretty much the whole pie.

Latin America has a history of terrorism

If you study the history of countries in South America, like Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Chile, etc, they all went through decades of chaos, military dictatorships, guerrilla warfare, and terroristic attacks, bombing attacks, etc.

For example, look up the "Dirty War" in Argentina and you will have plenty of examples. Thousands of young men and women joined the guerrilla during those times. And guess what, those guerrillas were LEFT wing guerrillas. So much of the Latino terrorists are based on socialistic/revolutionary idealogy. That's pretty left wing to me, too.

And Communists are NOT Left Wing?

The total LEFTWING terrorists should be 29%, right?

haters gonna hate

Whether it be the yankees, the boss, or some religious group logic won't change their mind, it will only give them more passion.

It doesn't account for the casulties

The report did not mention the total casualties and the significance of the terrorists attacked being carried out and their subsequent affect on the American society.

How many of you growing up during the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s remember any major terrorist attack that captured the attention of the whole nation?

The 9/11 attack definitely changed the American society forever. And no other attacks has claimed nearly as many lives as that.

Also, the worldwide terrorists attacks is lead by Muslims. No other religion, or ethnic groups produced as many terrorist as Islam. Another factor would be to look at suicide bombing attacks. No other terrorist groups surpasses Muslims in their "martyrdom attack". Left wing, right win, nationalist, none of them really can produce suicide bombers as Islam.

That tells you something about Islam.

World War I, World War II, the slaughter of 20 million aborigines in Australia, death and destruction in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, slaughter of 100 millions native in north America, slaughter of 50 million natives in south America, holocaust which claimed millions of Jews, wars in Vietnam and Korea -- these horrors weren’t started by the Muslims.

In the 90's, 8,000 Muslim men and boys were murdered by the Serbs. What religion did the Serbs practice? Thousands (Muslims again) dead in the first wave of American bombings over Iraq and Afghanistan. And, how about those drones which have killed so many innocents (Muslims again) in Yemen, Pakistan, and Afghanistan? I could go on.

the slaughter of 20 million

the slaughter of 20 million aborigines in Australia

There have never been 20 million aborigines in Australia. There are barely more than 20 million people in the country even now. The aboriginal population bottomed out at around 90,000 before climbing up to its current levels.

Aboriginal population prior to colonisation is estimated at around 250,000.

Like every other continent colonised, the vast majority of deaths were caused by introduced disease rather than by conflict.

There are a lot of cases where aboriginals were fought with, and where much wrong was done. In Tasmania, by 1840 every aboriginal had either been killed or exiled. If you want to excoriate the British for their treatment, fine, but at least learn some basics about the situation.

But those of us that have been awake for many years see it a bit differently. Michael Sheurer (sp?), the former head of the "Bin Laden Unit" helped write a book about suicide terrorism. You can go back to the Roman Empire and (I believe it was) 98% of suicide terror attacks are in response to occupation of a homeland or oppression of civilians by a foreign power (as in violence, rape, death).

Maybe that tells you something more about Western nations and Christian nations than about Islam.

and LaRaza folk on the DP don't want to see this. In addition, those people that deny that immigrants illegal or legal can do no wrong wont comment a bunch.

OK, several cops just got disciplined for being "right wing"

My friend got profiled for it, MadIdahoMan got profiled for it... Don't you think "right wing hate groups" ought to be a big slice of pie? And yet... perhaps they account for some portion of that "other" slice...
If I thought there was any justice in the courts, I would start suing media goons who say crap about "violent Sovereign groups." The whole friggin' point of sovereignty is being ruler of your own life, NOT BEING A GROUP.
