Ammo Prices

Hey Guys. Have any of you been able to find ammo on a regular basis recently? If you have happened to come across some, what kind of prices did you pay?

Just trying to get a feel for what it is like in other parts of the country.... There is no ammo in Colorado...

I can't remember the last time...

I have even seen a box of 22LR. A friend who works at my local HellMart says that they get it almost daily...but there are people waiting 3-deep at the counter and the ammo or ARs never even get put on the shelf. The only thing any gun store has (that I've seen), is 'wierd' calibers and 12ga stuff. By 'wierd' I mean 270 or 300 winmag, and some goofy british stuff.

in Sacramento, CA. 20 box of .223 goes for $6.99-$10.99, 2 box limit. I've had to drive outside of the county to buy bulk.

also, aside from http://www.luckygunner.com/labs/ which, while better than most, is still a bit high, I usually check http://ammoman.com/ (would you believe he's still based out of NJ??? LOL) and http://www.jgsales.com/ for comparo.

check them out.

Welcome and thanks to you too

I need to shout out to Betty Liberty. I was getting a bunch of ammo from another manufacturer and ran out completely as she inquired to buy some. I am starting my own manufacture, Betty, so I will be getting back to you when I do! Sorry sorry sorry for the timing!

Thank you!

Blah.

If there's not enough

If there's not enough ammunition to keep up with demand, I see that as a genuine business opportunity.

If the people want it, create it...and then sell it (so long as it's still legal...)

The arms industry is booming in America.

It seems buying from physical locations has become as hard as finding Beanie Babies back when they were all the rage. People are standing around waiting on deliveries. Many places put a one or 2 box limit.

Better get your silver while you can too. It's next. Food and gas to follow. It's gonna get ugly when these green pieces of paper become worthless.

Thankfully

I saw this day coming, so I haven't been gouged....yet.. It does make one hesitant to go to the range though.

Here are a couple of good sites I check from time to time. (even though their prices are getting crazy)

What are you looking for specifically?

Damn...

I just went through my closet and I still have whole case of these (300 rounds)...

Remington Express Magnum Buckshot 12 Ga 5 Rnds - $10.49

I don't remember how much I paid back then, but I don't think it was much more than $300.

9mm....

I found a site about an hour ago with boxes of 50 for 33 bucks..... I bought some of those while I could. Really cool site though.

Looks

like the cheapest it's getting is .45 cents a round.

9mm .45acp .40 cal .308 .223 are all getting pretty hard to find.

I saw a case (5250 rnds) of 22lr go for over 720 bucks plus shipping (normally 165) a while back. People say it will level out, but I'm not so sure.

Which site did you get it from?
