COLUMBIA, S.C. (CBS Charlotte/AP) — The South Carolina House approved a bill Wednesday criminalizing the implementation of President Obama’s health care law in the state.

The Republican-controlled House voted 65-39 on the Freedom of Health Care Protection Act.

The act renders “null and void certain unconstitutional laws enacted by the Congress of the United States taking control over the health insurance industry and mandating that individuals purchase health insurance under threat of penalty.”

obama care

its would seem its the first step to single payer..

well, let the laughter begin

What's funny about this is that Obama has already de-prioritized going after pot in CO and WA. Lets see if he will go after SC. Liberals will argue he can pick and choose what laws to enforce (regardless if constitutional) and the republicans will argue that he has an obligation to enforce all the laws (regardless if constitutional). Or visa versa. Or both Lmfao..These people are all wachadoos and have no shame in their game when it comes to being hypocrites. I hope this gets to be as entertaining as the AJ vs Piers Morgan "debate".

Introduced bills... biscuits for the liberty lovers?

Jan Brewer just made it quite clear that laws that interfere with the State making money are not going to be signed into law...
I've seen a gazillion really good bills introduced... never seen one pass. If one was good when introduced, by the time it passes it is not much good any more.
It is theater, it is there for your entertainment, it is to keep you pacified. If this actually becomes a law, PLEASE come back and tell me "Nyah, nyah, nyah." I'll be happy to take my raspberries.

Yep. It is why I will probably never vote again.

Fishy! Have You Decided To Run For Political Office?

If so, might it be federal office or state and local?

Just curious..

Incredibly unlikely.

I try not to slam doors on the future, but I went in once, all in. What I found convinced me politics is not a path to liberty, justice, truth, peace... anything that I want to work toward.
At the end of the day, I DO want to be Queen, but just of me.
I know much of what I have seen is "crazy theory" to those who have not seen it, but I have seen what I have seen.
The thread was a poorly titled one, I want people to work on "agree to disagree." It helps in all aspects of living, loving, liberating... but it is the very crux of why "the liberty movement" is strong and weak. Most of us are rock solid on our principles, and how do we demand politicians be rock solid on principles and yet refuse to compromise on OUR principles enough to support people with BIG differences on "hot issues."
It turned out the lesson was for me. The number of people who said "Yeah, I'd vote for you" after I said all the "wrong" things for a candidate stunned me. Indeed, it made me open a door I thought I had slammed on the future...

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

That is some significant news right there. A state government vs the federal government. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

One big up-vote for your post!
