Russian Cops Aren't Even Feared Like US Cops

With all the good that's hiding in people, I believe just about anything is possible. This gives me hope for real change.

Sorry, those arent cops just regular good people

There is a relatively high percentage of dash cam use by ordinary Russian citizens and cab drivers due in part because of police corruption, scam artists throwing themselves at cars to fake an accident and extort money, and mostly to prove who's fault it is in an accident. They use it for their own protection. Not a bad idea. Just not very widespread here in America outside of police dash cams. Perhaps we should.

So yeah this video is just a compilation of Russian good samaritans helping their fellow man. It is very inspiring though. It's nice to see there are still people out there helping old grannies cross the street. I hope it encourages others to drop all the insane road rage and inconsiderate driving we see around here and take the time to be kind and helpful to one another.

Bump.

Bump.

When I was a rebellious teen

The "party place" was kitty corner from the police station. They used to hassle us, tell us to disperse when there were twenty or thirty of us hanging out on the porch... It used to piss us off, who are they to tell us how many of us can hang out together? But since we were all hiding beers behind our back and cupping joints, we'd just step inside... Yes, that obvious, and I don't think any of us every got busted for anything. We used to know their schedule so well that when we knew all the boys were on Patrol, we'd go smoke a joint in their parking lot. We'd show them how much we respected their authority...
One day Eugene overdosed. All of us smoked and drank, but he'd gotten started on the hard stuff. And there he was, dying, and none of us with a clue what to do, and the cops just like magically appeared. I don't think anyone called, no one had time, but they saved him and sent him home. Eugene never touched the stuff again, his friend who got him into it died of an overdose within a year or two.
I miss those cops. They knew we were not "bad" people, just obnoxious teens and they felt no real threat from us. And as much as we mouthed off, I NEVER felt threatened by them. Indeed, when I lived there as a mother, "The Rookie" had become the Chief and he did something REALLY stupid that REALLY pissed me off, and I went down and read him the riot act like he did not even have a badge and gun on him.
Tut, Razor Blade, Rookie - Thanks. Wish you were still around.

It was good to see that.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.
