Are 22 Veterans suicide deaths a day truly suicide?Submitted by tdd4ron on Sat, 05/04/2013 - 11:52
We are told 22 of our finest kill themselves everyday. I recently read a post about the Navy Seal Team Six Commander taking his own life in Afghanistan and this led me to ponder that most people hardly notice another soldier missing (no disrespect to the families). How many people even know about this commander no longer being with us? A soldier such as this commander could have way to much knowledge to ever be allowed back into civilian life. I have no knowledge or proof of any wrong doing. Still I have to wonder if all of the 22 soldiers that die today actually take their own life.
It is very strange to me that so many of the Seal Team 6 are no longer with us right up to the Commander. Crashes, Training accidents, and suicide have taken most all of them. Maybe they should have been Navy Seal Team 13 because they appear to be very unlucky.
