Ron Paul: Meet Saint Paul (Criticism of Dr. Paul)

http://www.christorchaos.com/RonPaulMeetSaintPaul.htm
Ron Paul is not Catholic, even though he has a lot of good ideas.
Dr. Droleskey has a lot of good ideas, like how liberalism (libertarianism) alone really is insufficient naturalism for solving problems, but what is needed is supernatural grace obtained through prayer.

Utter lunacy

.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Catholic Neocons strike out at Dr. Paul

What passes for argument is pure hogwash with just a hint of exceptionalism.

Since these arguments were rejected by Jesus, no Catholic need pay heed.

Free includes debt-free!

Droleskey's no neocon!

He didn't support Romney and in fact you can see him on Youtube taking about the futility of voting for Romney/Obama. He/we just wants a Catholic government and the Social Reign of Our Lord Jesus Christ like there was in Europe before the bloody Freemasonic French Revolution lead a rebellion against the Catholic authority.

Huh?

is liberalism and libertarianism the same thing in your eyes?
Maybe you need to be specific...
Are you saying that if you are insubordinate to any government command that it is immoral?
Are you saying that if the government tells you that you can't drink soda, you shouldn't question it because that would be immoral?
maybe you think soda is immoral?
I understand the catholic church is a big fan of questioning authority but I dont know where you're going with this?

Classical liberalism = libertarianism

Modern "liberalism" is typically socialism. Those are my definitions.
Government commands against Catholic teaching are supernaturally unlawful and thus can be resisted. However, lawful commands which are stupid ought to be obeyed in most cases, or authority breaks down in society. Authority IS a good thing - even small gov't libertarians recognize that authorities can lawfully protect against and prosecute theft, murder, etc. I was posting this for Catholics who might think that Ron Paul is the answer, when he is deficient on many issues. Catholics make up about 25% of the population, hence maybe 1/4 or less of users - this will fluctuate. Questioning authority and getting answers on things a person doesn't understand is ok. Doubting and disobeying authority can be the road to violent anarchy.

What????

You lost me at Ron Paul is not a Catholic.

Sorry

I mean to say that Ron Paul cannot be the solution to problems in government because he is not Catholic, and he has some deficient beliefs, practices, and understandings as a protestant. I very much like Ron Paul compared to a lot of politicians though - yet I think it is important to know criticisms as well in order to learn from them!
