Residents of bankrupt California city launch recall of city's council, mayor, and city attorney

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Up in arms against the leadership it blames for San Bernardino's bankruptcy, a group of business people and residents on Thursday launched a campaign to recall the California city's council, mayor and city attorney.

The group, looking for a "clean sweep" inside crisis-hit San Bernardino, presented its initiative on the steps of City Hall before a crowd of residents and local media.

San Bernardino, a city of 210,000 about 65 miles east of Los Angeles, filed for bankruptcy in August 2012 citing a cash-flow crisis and a budget deficit of $45 million for the current fiscal year.

endorse this message.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Lets get our Liberty Lovers in there

This is gonna repeat everywhere else. Lets get some courageous libery candidates in there.

I took a peek into my city council and did not like it and will publicly say I am a coward.

It's disgusting.

I am full of shame.

Not my county but my county is garbage.

I wish I had the time to fight these guys

but what good will it be if those theives get to

keep their pensions? They shouldn't only be thrown out, they should have all their 'wealth' (their theft) confiscated and that money given back to the city to decrease the deficit.
Then they should be denied the right to ever enter the political arena again.
I wouldn't throw them in jail because they were already a tax burden to the people.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

We need to get the recall

We need to get the recall effort done first in order for them to be thrown out.

We need people to get engaged with their local government, especially our liberty soldiers.

More Than Likely

They'll just "sweep in" new liberals, who'll do the exact same things as the previous liberals did. LOL California.

I hope this catches on wherever needed. I have little doubt this needs to be happening all over the nation. In the city where I once lived, I was told the local system much like the federal system is so rigged, people are only replaced by those who are willing to continue the scam over the citizens, local government as in federal government, we only have the illusion of choice. It's taken many years but the once respectable and beautiful state of California has been systematically destroyed through fraud.
