Bashful? Buy the little blue pill online

Pfizer sells Viagra on its website in a drug industry first

Men who are bashful about needing help in the bedroom no longer have to go to the drugstore to buy that little blue pill.

In a first for the drug industry, Pfizer Inc. told The Associated Press that the drugmaker will begin selling its popular erectile dysfunction pill Viagra directly to patients on its website.

Men still will need a prescription to buy the blue, diamond-shaped pill on viagra.com, but they no longer have to face a pharmacist to get it filled. And for those who are bothered by Viagra's steep $25-a-pill price, Pfizer is offering three free pills with the first order and 30 percent off the second one.

Pfizer's bold move blows up the drug industry's distribution model. Drugmakers don't sell medicines directly to patients. Instead, they sell in bulk to wholesalers, who then distribute the drugs to pharmacies, hospitals and doctors' offices.

After Viagra came out there was a noticeable upsurge in elderly

HIV cases. I'm a lab tech and see this occasionally in over 60 yr. old patients. Married couples both testing positive because the old geezer gets the pill and strays.

Yet another case of big pharma off the hook

for collateral damage.

Horny Goat Weed is a lot safer than that stuff

also known as "epimedium" and can be found in Whole Foods stores.

"Many species of Epimedium have aphrodisiac qualities associated with content of icariin. According to legend, this property was discovered by a Chinese goat herder who noticed sexual activity in his flock after they ate the weed. It is sold as a health supplement, usually in raw herb, tablet, or capsule form and sometimes blended with other supplements."

"Like sildenafil (the erectile dysfunction drug commonly sold as Viagra), icariin, the active compound in Epimedium, inhibits the activity of PDE-5..."

Lets all ride the big Pharma

Lets all ride the big Pharma Rollercoaster!

First we set unreasonable numbers for Cholesteral which hasnt even been proven to be bad for you.

Then lets get you on Statin drugs to get those numbers down.

But then that causes degenerative diseases such as Alzheimers and causes ED.

But dont worry, there is a pharma solution to that, the little Blue Pill!

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

"Side" effects

"In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including VIAGRA) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision."

"Sudden decrease or loss of hearing has been rarely reported in people taking PDE5 inhibitors, including VIAGRA."

"The most common side effects of VIAGRA are headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach. Less commonly, bluish vision, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light may briefly occur."

But dog-gone it, you'll be able to get it up! "In the rare event of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help to avoid long-term injury." Darn...

If these people did research, they would find that there are way cheaper, safer, natural options for this condition. $25/pill... LOL.

anybody else

Find the above post to be blurry?

Yeah, what do you expect the side effects to be?

An erection occurs when the blood vessels in the penis dilate. The receptors and chemicals involved in this vasodilation mechanism are not unique to the penile tissue. Natural chemical alternatives to sildenafil that have simular mechanisms have the same major side effects.

I know.

I was just pointing out (more likely preaching to the choir) the nonsense you can expect from one of Big Pharma's "quick fix" pills.
