Jack Hunter: Rand Paul Shatters Left / Right Paradigm, Can Help Grow GOP

Many continue to ask how the GOP can remain a party that can win elections and govern nationally. They already have an answer.

Sen. Rand Paul has the benefit of being one of the most conservative Republicans in the traditional, limited-government sense, while holding unique ideological positions that make it possible for him to build new coalitions other Republicans cannot.

jack hunter needs to do a few pushups on top of a knife.

Well...here is the failure of Jack in one paragraph.

"The heart of American conservatism has always been the simple notion that government is the problem — that government must be limited in scope, checked in its power and restrained by the Constitution. This was Goldwater’s creed and Reagan’s promise. It is what the Tea Party represents today."

First, anyone who thinks the Tea Party was real and not a media-fueled astroturf stunt is out of their frickin' mind! How many times do we need to point out that 99% of the Teaocons were Bush-loving, FED-kissing, false left/right, lovers of killing little brown children. And, while he gave himself an out by saying it was Reagan's "promise", no one can deny that Reagan opened the door of the White House to the Family and the Neocon/Evangelical Trotskyites (at least after Bush shot him).

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Jack Hunter

needs to STFU

tell me again why jack hunter is hated

oh yeah, alex jones fans who cant control their own thoughts.

i swear theres two types of people. those who allow their thoughts to be controlled by the mainstream media and those who allow their thoughts to be ontrolled by alternative media.

No need to be insulting

Especially since insulting people most likely inspired them to not answer your question, which question I'd like to know myself.

Why the Jack Hunter rejection? Sure, he doesn't come across as charismatic, but that's hardly a good reason. Did he betray Ron Paul or something? (I know someone had, but the name has been blotted from my mind.)

"Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." -- Thomas Paine

I'm not an Alex Jones fan.

And I'm not a Jack Hunter fan. For my own reasons, not because of what somebody else says. Thank you very much.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

And what is that reason

I too would like to know...

...what you have against Jack Hunter.

He is exactly the kind of genuinely conservative Republican that we need to grow this movement, and he personally has always given us very favorable coverage. He supported Ron, he's supporting Rand. What's not to like?

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

They don't know

Because their minds are totally owned by the ongoing OP to discredit and wedge the most respected of the movement.

The goal has always been to create infighting in order to demobilize and factionalize.

When you challenge hunter haters with the most basic question, 'why tear him down?' their eyes glaze over. Conned by a psyop and unable to explain how they were even programmed to hate hunter in the first place.

Something about not wanting to dwell on conspiracies. Yeah that must be it. What a jerk. Burn him down.

I'm sorry, but that is just funny.

A conservative writer declares a conservative politician has shattered the left / right paradigm... Really?
How about we ask a few liberals? Rand does not even have enthusiastic libertarians behind him, compared to his dad.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

I Beg To Disagree Fishy..Rand Has Tons Of Libertarian Support

I know you like Ron Paul. Most of us Dpers do. No one is better in my mind than Dr. Paul. But Rand is not chopped liver. Rand and his dad have very little disagreement.

Rand is the next best politician next to his dad and if Rand can keep doing what he is doing in the senate, someday he may be ready for "The People's House"

Enjoy your day Fishy...Love Ya!

You don't have to beg.

I'm all bout "agree to disagree" - lol1
I said by comparison, maybe it is just my perspective. He seems to have greater appeal among the GOP "base" and support with the libertarians, but not the enthusiastic, chanting crowds that Ron did. And the story claims support from the left - that is what I was laughing about.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

I disagree to disagree! :)

I disagree to disagree! :)

Right on

Jack Hunter Has Lost All Credibility With Many Of Us On The DP

However, what he says is true. So lets not throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak...

How did he lose credibilty?

For standing for Ron Paul is how.. ironic

Thank you and BUMP

I hear you

but Jack hunter is dead to me.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.
