Conspiracy Theorists Here on the DP

Dear DP,

Sorry to break it to you, but YES there ARE Conspiracy Theorists on this website. In my own personal life, I started researching "The Illuminati" about 5 years ago. Yes I do believe they exist, and yes I do believe they are working behind the scenes to bring forth a "New World Order."

That being said, it was my conspiratorial mind that brought me to the Liberty Movement, so like it or not, we are a part of the movement. Yes, I keep the conspiracy stuff to a minimum here, because yes this site is about Limited and Constitutional Government first and foremost. But the attacks on Conspiracy Theorists should stop. At the end of the day we are all on the same team.

Unfortunately there is a lot of dis-/misinformation on the subject of the Illuminati, so YES there are a lot of "conspiratards" out there. They just haven't figured it out yet, and are probably in it for "Conspiratainment" anyways. Just because there are a few crazies out there, doesn't mean we are all whackos or nutters. Even I have subscribed to some off-the-wall stuff, but my mind is not closed off to debunkers and I have been debunked before. I am ok with that. All I am after is the TRUTH. Nothing more, and nothing less.

That is all.

I'm listening right now. FRIGGIN' WOW!!!!

This guy is tearing it UP!

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Dear John...

I know you mean well but what exactly are you trying to tell us.

That the richest and most powerful people run the world?

Really? I can hardly believe it!!

That like all human beings they like having their separate 'invitation only' clubs?

That they dabble in mysticism and the spiritual like all of us?

That there is a growing movement towards centralization since man built his first civilization?

If that is all then the rest of us completely agree. But to bring shape shifters, aliens, nephilim and black magic into it is frankly a distraction.

Not the point...

My intentions with this post was not to address conspiracy theories, but to address conspiracy theorists. I was being intentionally vague, because this is about people, not theories. But thank you for making my point by addressing the most insane ones out there.

People often fear that which we don't understand.

Those pushing the "New World Order", and those who are considered the Illuminati, are two different groups.

If you would truly understand, study Freemasonry.

You can lead a person to knowledge, but you can't make them think.

Conspiratainment

I love it. My new word for the day. :)

Just open the box and see

Yeah

You got that from Mark Dice, who after calling Infowars - Infowhores for so long, actually was on their show and did a piece for them a couple of weeks ago. Alex Jones has actually warned us about most of this stuff, SO IT IS COMING TRUE NOW AND PEOPLE STILL LAUGH IT OFF. Funny how Rand Paul, Ron Paul, Gary Johnson and other political figures use his show to get their message out, while you just see it as entertainment. If it was just that, it would be on TV. Use your head. Ignorance is bliss.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

I just like the way the word sounds

Actually, I got that from the OP here. I've never seen it before.

I didn't say that I think that's all it is.
I prefer James Corbet to Alex Jones, but I have no issue with Alex.

Alex is a brave man to be so outspoken, and I respect him. He's been telling the truth since Waco Texas in the 80's.

I don't like the word to use as a derogatory term, I just think it's fun. Makes me think of Icke's lizard people. Please, don't infer that I think Icke is crazy either, just fun. If Icke is crazy, it's probably crazy like a fox. ;)

My head is not in the sand anymore. I am fully aware of what most folks here are also fully aware of. I am doing the best I can for liberty at this time. I donate money when I can, mostly to causes I find here on DP. I am working to disconnect from the matrix as fast as possible, but I am only newly woken to liberty. I've been here since the beginning of the 2012 election cycle, when I was introduced to Ron Paul for the first time, and he changed my life. :)

Some of my associates will enjoy using the term to describe me, I'm sure. I will provide the term to them, I don't accept the derogatory nature of it, but, rather embrace it, and yes, laugh. A laughing man is an open man. ;)

To many people I know, the FED not being a government organization is still a "conspiracy theory", forget about the truth of 9/11. ;)

Just open the box and see

Now that

I can agree with you on for sure.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

I

Agree. Their are lots of things I would say but I hold back because some one might claim I am some loony. I try to keep it at a certain level. But I am well aware of what is going on in this sick world.

Smart move.... You are not

Smart move.... You are not going to walk into a room full of Fox news junkies and convince them in one conversation it is all a bunch of propaganda. Ease them into the idea they may not be hearing gospel with something easily proven. All you need to do is plant a seed and water it. Once they start questioning what they are watching the rest will follow.

If...

it walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck... its probably a Duck (conspiracy).

God forgives always. Man forgives sometimes. But Nature never forgives.

Ghandi Once Said:

"Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth. For being correct. For being you.

Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you're right and you know it, speak your mind. Speak your mind.

Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth."

Thank you

However, we prefer the term "Conspiracy Realist."

Conspiracy Realist?

I like that. I am also partial to the term, "911 Faithful".

However, I do like to be called a truther because, very soon, it will universally imply that those who aren't "truthers" are liars.

"However, I do like to be called a truther because, very soon, it will universally imply that those who aren't "truthers" are liars."

Except that would present a whole new set of problems down the line. Why reduce an opponent to a label? Isn't that a big part of why so many dislike the MSM and the Republicrats who watch it?

I never understood why people claim to be a truther or a conspiracy theorist or a Republican or whatever else, because it just makes it that much more difficult to converse or debate with those who shun such labels (and anything/one attached to them).

So many people seem to build up this sort of mental wall when they hear certain labels and slogans, and trying to move past that is often extremely difficult, if outright impossible (in my experience, anyway). So my thinking is; why not just skip that stage by skipping the labels?

Then again, labels *can* be useful to an extent, but that extent, much like labels themselves are subjective and dammit I'm rambling again.

A signature used to be here!

Very good point!

I think we have been taught to label from a very young age. All is does is divide.

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.

That's right; all languages in and amongst themselves are divisive.
