Meanwhile people languish in prison for longer terms...

...for victimless crimes.

Bought Jury And Judge?

Sounds rigged to me but then I am a "conspiracy theorist"

He didn't shoot them with a weapon that supposedly causes cardiac-arrest. I don't think the judge was an actor. And I don't think the jury were reptilians or whatever malarkey.

Charged with murder, convicted of manslaughter

by a jury that recommended only 3 years jail. The grand jury charged the cop with murder, malicious shooting of an occupied vehicle, malicious shooting of an occupied vehicle resulting in death, and use of a firearm. Some how the jury found him guilty of voluntary manslaughter, the two malicious counts, but not use of a firearm. The judge followed their recommendation and sentenced the cop to three years. What was the dead woman's crime? According the the cop when he testified in his own defense, the woman was sitting in her car, with a shade over the front window, with her eyes closed. "She was acting aloof, odd, and off-putting." She refused to hand him her license so he reached through the window to grab it. That's went she rolled up the window and tried to drive off. There were 45 witnesses and none saw the cop's hand stuck in the window. He shot twice through the driver's window and 5 more times as she drove off. The cop's mother was also charged with 6 different forgery counts for altering her son's previous bad behaviour file records in her position as the police chief's secretary. This one stinks to high heaven. A cop got away with murder.

" A cop got away with murder."

Unfortunately for the praetorian guards/political police, this seems to be more of the rule, than the exception.

What a pathetic POS.

If all the facts as laid out are true, that motherfcuker deserves LIFE (actually scratch that, why should tax payers pay for his housing and food to keep his ass alive in comfort...for committing murder?), the jury should've convicted him of at least 2nd Degree Murder, though capital punishment is the only fitting punishment, period.

Thank you for bringing this to light.

I wish I could say I'm shocked. This man is EVIL!!

I did not watch the video and have no info on this particular police officer, but since I am one who believes in treating people as individuals, I'll point out that some cops have PTSD, everyone makes mistakes, and to forgive is divine (and the worse it was, the harder it may be to do).

Human weakness is simply ANOTHER reason not to put humans in charge of each other (once they've gotten past high school).

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Even GOD only forgives those who are repentant.

You may think you are better than GOD by advocating forgiveness of an unrepentant evil heart but it just puts you in the same class as the one you propose to forgive. And it is easy to spout your feel good self righteous "Christianity" when it is someone else problem. This person deserves no forgiveness unless or until he truly repents of the murder he committed and to propose forgiveness beforehand only serves to encourage further sin by the transgressor and heap sorrow on the victims.

While you make some good points

there is a culture of disdain for law among those sworn to uphold it. That cannot be excused with "Maybe he has PTSD." Forgiveness does not mean excusing one from justice. When a person kills another person in cold blood, it is an evil act. Justice was not served, and that is not something to celebrate.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Not enough:

This thug should have been given the max to set an example to the rest of the thugs.
He took a life for no good reason and should spend the rest of his life paying for it.
Maybe not in prison the entire time. Perhaps serving the family that he deprived.
Instead, they will win a suit taking taxpayer funds that will never fill the void that this creature created.
The only thing of any value that comes from this is the fact that this creature will never have the "shield" to protect him from the repercussions of his actions ever again. Thus affording him the opportunity to continue being the thug that he is.
One down, many more to go.
