One Of The Worst Hit Pieces Against Rand Paul So Far?

Rand Paul: The next and last GOP nominee?

If the Kentucky senator is the Republican Party's standard bearer in 2016, it is not inconceivable that he could destroy the party

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is for real. He currently leads the Republican field in the 2016 New Hampshire presidential primary, and places a close second among Republican voters nationally. It's still very, very early to be making 2016 predictions, but it's undeniable that Paul is a real contender.

And yet... there's no getting around the fact that Paul holds views that are anathema to many other Republicans, especially when it comes to foreign policy.

Rand won't go anywhere in 2016

Ron Paul won the CPAC straw poll every year except the year it counted for anything. The fix is in against anyone who isn't part of the neo-lib/neo-con Axis of Evil. Obama could run as a Republican against Rand in the Republican primaries and enough infiltrated and corrupted 'winner take all' states would ensure Obama's victory.

Snark aside, it will be Rubio, or a Bush, possibly Christie who the establishment anoints no matter who Republican grassroots voters actually want.

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

I don't agree

I worked really hard for Ron Paul as an Indy in 07/08.

I didn't get it.

When he made his announcement in 2011, It made me sick, but I joined the GOP, and then I went to meetings, and I petitioned for ballot access to get a seat on the central committee.. and the GOP didn't help.. I did it to become a national delegate.. I was far from alone.

When I first went to meetings there were two people.. last month, there are two elected officers that are Rand Paul supporters, and we have two other supports that have seats.. another is pending a seat.. we have the majority, there must have been 20 people at the meeting, and we are now proceeding by Ronert's Rules of Order..

Because of Ron Paul's runs.. we are in a way better position for Rand. Here in CA, we have a great floor presentation, has moved into suites, PAC elections.. LIBERTY ... tea party is siding with us.. we have a future.. WE ARE THE FUTURE (duh)

We should just all give up and go home.

You go ahead. We might catch up later.

Wasn't terrible

I don't know if I agree with - or even much care about - the analysis, but it didn't seem like "hit piece" to me.

as Dr. Paul has reminded us constantly, Dubya used a reluctant foreign policy message to get elected.

Currently consuming: Morehouse's "Better off free", FDR; Wii U; NEP Football

An enemy of the establishment...a friend to liberty

So, media blackouts, hit pieces and the old "isolationist" charge. Funny how the tactics never change. I stand w Rand.

New poll came out yesterday and Rand leads in Iowa

I posted a thread and it is getting downvoted.

Here is link: http://www.dailypaul.com/284798/early-2016-poll-rand-paul-ho...

Read it for the GREAT analysis

The impotence of the hard right was evident in 2008 and 2012, as conservative leaders furiously tried to stymie the respective campaigns of Sen. John McCain and former Gov. Mitt Romney, and failed. Why? They couldn't consolidate their forces.

In 2012, conservatives abandoned Romney but couldn't find a serious alternative among the laughable field of Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, and Herman Cain.

In 2008, conservatives splintered between Romney, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, and former Sen. Fred Thompson, letting McCain win key early primaries with less than 40 percent of the vote.

In the Public Policy Polling survey of New Hampshire, Rand Paul has 28 percent, Rubio and Christie also score double digits, followed by Bush and Ryan with 7 percent each. Elsewhere on the far-right flank, neither Santorum nor Perry can break 5 percent. At least at this early stage, Paul has the market cornered.

This article spells out exactly what we need to win: unity.

Road Map

I don't have the time today, but I am going to study this article THANK YOU for posting it.

Ron Paul invited us into the GOP because he knew there was seats.. the Bus killed the GOP.. who the hell would want to join the GOP? That's why we've been able to get seats and chairs.. and as we are coming up in the party.. we have Rand.. we have support..we're doing it.. and now here MSM goes blaming us for the end of the GOP.

They fully intended to destroy the GOP and why Ron Paul said if you want to keep your republic get in..

but these corprate cons (no different than the corporate dems) do not like seeing us showing up into theor corporate party..

writing is on the wall.. GOP is doomed.. si I'm glad that I joined and experienced it.. 8 years...when is that? May 2021 no GOP.

"committed to moving the Republican Party toward isolationism"

>Could someone committed to moving the Republican Party toward
>isolationism really win the presidential nomination?

It would be so incredibly comical (were it not so incredibly serious) how the MSM abuses terminology. This is clearly no accident. This is an outright hit piece.

>Not since 1980 has the conservative movement successfully nominated
>one of its own.

Notice how they don't mention that it was Reagan - the guy everyone in the GOP supposedly idolizes.

Rand is a huge threat -- unlike his dad,

he can't be scorned, ignored, and eventually dismissed.

The fact that they're calling him a "real contender" speaks volumes.

But, but, but...

He spent all that time and effort to kiss Israel's butt, butt, butt...
He has a couple years still, but I consider this pretty damning evidence that his compromises are not really getting him what he wants.
Take the SPLC claim that there has been an 813% increase in Patriot groups in the past 4 years, and suddenly it seems maybe Rand would do better to stop compromising with traitors? Just a thought.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.
