when a party cheats lies smears and cheats

... you leave that party permanently.
bye bye GOP and all you simpering jellyfish who stay are a disgrace ...

did I mention the GOP CHEATS !!!!

Why would we miss Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is still with us. Ron Paul is a REPUBLICAN and claims to be 99% agreement with Rand Paul.

Because

He is no longer a candidate.

Though he is busy with other projects, he wouldn't be nearly as visible if he were nominated the GOP candidate...

"Truth is Treason in an Empire that lies" - Ron Paul

Educate the masses, and win in the end.

He supports Rand

99%

.

Being mired hip deep in mud suits the GOP.

The RNC breathed a sigh relief with the retirement of Ron Paul, and they must have celebrated jubilantly when hearing that news. God help them.

When you take a measure, take a good measure.

Use the best measure appropriate to what you are measuring. Even you end up with zero, it may well be for the best.

hehe I ripped my dad with that one

Nothing ignites a fire between us than taxation. He bitches at me about being against unfair taxation.

So one night I said taxation should be fixed at a rate, to which he agreed vociferously.

Yep, 0 percent.

Boy that got him angry. He hung up on me that night. I still love him though, he's my dad.

Taxes are his hot button. He's a tax and spend guy on issues, but in action, he's a save money guy and avoids paying as many taxes as possible through various means. He tells me I need to play the game so I pay very little taxes. So I tell him, yes, like no taxes. That's MY money. Then he launches into tirades, usually about roads and I tell him that's what the gas tax and property taxes are for.

Some battles you can't win. Maybe even some of our state taxes go towards roads, but as far as I know, roads are mainly maintained by gas taxes and property taxes.

I wish we could privatize it. I would live on a farm on a dirt road.

In any case, I love me some Mark Twain. He was an interesting character.

Roads were paved for walking in town. Then bicycling..

Everyday throughout America, the Overspeeder runs over somebody and "escapes." That is the way it reads. At present the 'mobile numbers are so small that ordinary eyes cannot read them, upon a swiftly receding machine, at a distance of a hundred feet - a distance which the machine has covered before the spectator can adjust his focus. I think I would amend the law. I would enlarge the numbers, and make them readable at a hundred yards. For overspeeding - first offence - I would enlarge the figures again, and make them readable at three hundred yards--this in place of a fine, and as a warning to pedestrians to climb a tree. - "Overspeeding," Harper's Weekly, 11/5/1905 (from a letter to the editor dated 10/18/1905)

Confounded horseless carriages must stay well away from other travelers. Lest they spook the horses & cause folks to lose their manners. For the safety of other travelers, you be sure to send this notice to your dear father. It is for the safety of others walking about where he might drive his horseless carriage. And by all means, have him be mindful to stay off paved roads!

Mark Twain was a 33 degreee Mason

I didn't know he was all that. Did you? http://www.queenslandfreemasons.com/about-us/famous-freemaso...

Beyond writing, there is little evidence of my hard work.

I have many honorary degrees including Oxford. Old men would offer vittles & drink to entice me; I would attend. They would confer honorariums on me... asking for no work. Ain't no harm in free food & drink hear tell; I obliged them. Many of our founding fathers were of the same inclination. I reluctantly accepted these honorariums. Freemasons then & now populate the trades & government. By the way, near as I recall, I am still honorary Vice President of the Anti-Imperialist League.

I suppose I owe over a century of back dues.

proof enough that masons are

proof enough that masons are not a nefarious conspiracy. except that time they jumped me for my bike, i got no problems with them.

Nor do I

After all, The Grange was constructed by Masons.

Oh Man...

that's cool. It would be cheaper to just buy the GOP a dog to kick tho. Really the GOP has one more chance with me in 2016. They blow that, then I'm leaving them forever to their own devices.
