Liberty Poem 1

The breeze was carrying fainter manes,
plaited and unabashed,
and the neighs from slight apparitions held fast
across an eminant domain of once familiar plains.

and in the protest of bullet and bit,
the steeds were driven with fright,
lest the antiquity beckoning would serve as plight
to a descended flickering the horizon lit.

Men drew brave now lie quiet,
floundering by dimming tunnels,
the making of a primitive Arm
revealed in the haste of an old war.

Peace and Love always.
