Ron Paul Supporter just escorted off Job by 3 armed detectives

A fellow Ron Paul supporter here in Fremont, Nebraska was just escorted off of his job by three armed detectives because some chick got freaked out over his comments about open carry being legal. They are accusing him of making terrorist threats because of his comments.

More info..
The lady that turned him in is an older lady he met at the bar that he befriended and played pool with.
His comments did not take place at work nor where they about work but about how open carry was legal and he discussed Adam Kokesh's open carry march in DC. The lady then called the police and told them he was going to go shoot up his work place.

Sounds like she is not real stable.

Another Update:
I got him hooked up with a good lawyer.

He can sue the company if she has no proof...

for humiliating him in front of his co workers and be eligible for compensation. Also he could get his job back if he wants.

Something is not right

Its just hearsay, unless their is a recording I don't see the possibility.

If she was drunk, playing pool at the bar, there is another problem.

I seriously doubt he could be arrested without those detectives doing a sting or something.

I would like to see the police report.

He was not arrested

They escorted him off the property where he worked and told him he could not go back until they did a full investigation. Which is BS..this is all on the word of some old lady that he met at a bar and played pool with. So he goes without pay and is in fear of losing his job and also his reputation.

A lawyer for what?

Doesn't the Daily Paul believe in governmental non-interference of private contract between employer and employee?

I suppose he could sue the women for slander, but doubt she has much assets to obtain.

i belive non interference but...

when an employer conspires against you their is a problem! this is when our knowledge kicks in. Hire a lawyer to represent you!

I'm not really sure how you

I'm not really sure how you can conclude that individual posters here speak for the entirety of the Daily Paul community?!?

That lady got it right.

Right into all the parentheses at once.

seriously this guy has a case of defamation and harassment

Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.

He shud SUE!!!!!

her for libel, slander and defamation!!!

probably not much of a case

probably not much of a case for libel...just saying :]

sad too see folks succumbing to the fear and paranoia. DHS and lame stream media are doing a bang up job.

This almost sounds like an

This almost sounds like an open and shut case. I dont think they will be able to enforce this.

On a less serious note:
Does it strike anyone else as unwise to fire someone who was claiming they were going to go shoot the place up? Am I think only one that finds this somehow loony toon comical? Basically they just did the one thing that would set a person off because they wanted to stop him from being set off. This is like saying you decided to burn your friend's house down in order to stop him from burning it down.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

I think the Lawyer thinks it is pretty open and shut also

he told them if they contacted them again to refer them to him and to let him know if he was not back to work by Friday.

Where is this reported? What

It wasn't...Yet

It was someone I know. He was a delegate for Ron Paul last time around.

in a liberal mind, who do

in a liberal mind, who do they see as the bad guy in a situation such as this?

W....T...

F!!!

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

I've spent countless hours preparing for my appearance

in front of some judge. The only way I will end up in front of one is if I am kidnapped, handcuffed and tossed in a cage and then forced to "appear" in order to get released, but...I sense that day coming. I don't do anything illegal but I also stand up for my fundamentally protected rights...and that appears to REALLY get the enforcers of the government/corporate racket very upset.

Like the other commenters...I wonder exactly what the guy said. Its sad that we have to monitor the things we say so closly today but the most of the masses have bought into all the fear that the government is selling and everyone is now a suspected terrorist.

For SURE, keep your mouth SHUT when dealing with enforcers. AM I FREE TO GO is about all you should ever say.

His words about what took place.

"Well the accuser is claiming I planned to shoot up my work place, when all my comments were about open carry and Adam kokesh's armed march on DC"

This seems like a flimsey

This seems like a flimsey case at best if it were to go to court. If thats indeed all that happened, then its basically he said she said and that shouldnt be enough to get fired.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Okay..here is his words.

She called me a terrorist for saying I could open carry and because I made her look dumb she called the cops and they escorted me off property because she said that I was going to shoot up adm and im not allowed back on property.
He is now posting he is going to lose his job...

He works at a grain elevator here in Fremont, Nebraska

Getting more info..

ha ha

seriously, he works at a grain elevator, those things are highly combustible and explosive, I don't think he would need to shoot anybody. This is a flimsy case.

Well, here we go.

Expressing an opinion is now a terrorist activity. His life will never be the same.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

Also, what were the comments

Also, what were the comments about open carry exactly? We need more information on this.
