My 25 ounces of silver not selling on ebay.

They've been up for almost 3 days and bidding is at $1.50. I really thought there would be a stronger demand with this stuff on ebay. If you guys want some action get in on it.

Spot + $19.88?!?!?

i did the math like 3 times. tell me i'm really sleepy and just messed up. or tell me why people think these are worth so much.

Right now you're being offered $14.00 per ounce over spot price.

You can't live with $14.00 over spot???

The front looks nice but...

I wouldn't buy a coin with an engraving of an old demonic slut on the back.

That's right! If I wanted a coin with a genocidal maniac on it

now at 935 dollars with 30 bids and 4 days left

This is where you find the true value of precious metals. Don't let ANYONE mislead you of that!

Also, I don't sell on ebay. They will rape you on selling fees! Probably a hundred bucks or more for every thousand dollars in sales. 2k in sales will be well over 200 in fees...that sucks!

Heh...

... They are way above spot price of silver. Most people here know not to mess with numismatics. They are nice looking coins tho. :P You're doing the right thing trying to sell them :) But, we here at the DP know EXACTLY what to invest in. :)

Good Luck Brother.

Not everyone here considers

Not everyone here considers it an investment. I consider it money and it's literally my savings. I have no intention of selling. I buy low, I buy high. I just buy, period.

Me too...

...the word "investment" was the wrong word to use. "Savings" is the word I should have used most def. Even though the physical price exceeds the paper, and the price he's selling at would probably a more accurate price, I can still get it for less than that. Prob not over $3 over spot at this time. That's all. Buy all the time! I just try and get it as low as I can personally.

lol....

The bidding is already way over the actual value of the silver. Someone is a huge sucker.

No train to Stockholm.

it's the 2011 Wolf. They are

it's the 2011 Wolf. They are around $90 each on apmex...over $2100 for 25 of them.

any idea

why?

people just love the Canadian

people just love the Canadian Wolf. It gets bought up and is relatively hard to find. Collectors pay a huge premium.

I'm waiting till the price gets down to under $5 US before I

go back into the long side of silver. Give it a year or two.

If spot price goes that low

If spot price goes that low you're not going to be able to find the physical metal. The actual market price of the metal right now seems to still be at least $30 per ounce despite the spot price being down to under $23. If spot goes to $5, market will be well over $100.

yep

ebay items always see the most action the last day, regardless of what is being sold. I never bid before the last day, there is no point. If it is still at a price I am interested in, I'll bid. Usually, but the last day I am priced out of whatever I was looking at.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Lower the initial bid to $1.00.... LOL

, just kidding. I don't do ebay, but if I did, I would put a bid on your roll

But seeing from your seller

But seeing from your seller feedback as how you have regularly sold gold and silver on ebay in the past, I now presume you were already aware of the advice given here and were just posting in order to drive traffic to your auction.

kinda...spammy...if you ask me.

I just inheritted this ebay account

From my business partner.
My usual ebay goods involve cell phones and on ocassion rare antique coins. My actual ebay account is etnanoy. And ofcourse I knew posting it on here would drive traffic.

    I bid $2.00...

just to add a bid to your count :)

    Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

    It will reach market prices

It will reach market prices on the day the auction closes. most people don't bid until the last 12-24hrs of the auction because that is when it will show up at the top of the search list when they list by "ending soonest". I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

    Just bid on it

Consider that many ebayers won't bid until the last 5 minutes of auction. They are trying not to bring attention to the auction in hopes that will keep the bidding down, then they swoop in an clean up. Don't worry, you will get a decent price.

    Thanks I know I will

Definitely get spot price or more for it. It was just seeing it for 3 days with literally no action has me a little nervous. I know I shouldn't be.

Don't worry, it's because it has 5 days left

Noone likes to make a bid that won't reflect on their account until 5 days later. That's an easy way to overdraft and lose track of how much money is tied up in bids. 3 day auctions are the way to go.

The price will skyrocket the last two days.
