If Obama goes to jail

Could you imagine if Obama goes to jail for life or something like that? What if he turns his back on some of the others in the district of criminals and starts "singing"? Could you imagine the shit-storm that would start happening?

Because of this, I have to believe it will never get to that point. Though of course they could threaten Obama to make sure he zips his lip. And they can secretly promise him a comfortable jail cell with food, conjugal visits etc if he cooperates. But hey Bernie Madoff started leaking some stuff (about Ponzi schemes).

Things may change for Obama when people see the 2014 1040

when they have to pay a penalty for not having heath insurance. Many have lost health Insurance coverage because of Obamacare and people like myself are facing increased premiums by employers and less coverage.

It will never lead to any impeachment proceedings, the Democrats stick together.

Maybe there will be some "singing" after all. This could be very interesting.

You do realize IF and that is a BIG IF they started impeachment proceedings and IF IF they gained traction and IF they actually got an impeachment.

You better hunker down and make sure your cellar is stocked.

You will see effin riots like you have never seen.
Detriot will burn to the ground. Philly will burn to the ground.

And what comes with the riots - the Boston esque shelter in place martial law.

Nothing happens without reason - it is all gamed out.

In fact

I doubt your going to get rid of him, in 2016.

Pres. Obama, in prison? Get real.

It does not matter what he has done, or even what he will do. His VP will give him a full pardon and he will still get his big time retirement money for life, and his secret service detail for life. And he will be laughing all the way to the bank…at everyone! He could murder everyone on the supreme court (in front of hundreds of witnesses) and he'd still be awarded another Nobel Peace Prize.

The Question Holder Never Answered

"Do you believe a Special Prosecutor should be appointed...."
During this encounter, Holder began talking non-sense and gibberish to eat up the time of the Republican Representative and never replied. The question would have to be made out in writing.

This has happened several times now, and for good reason...

Lindsey Graham on Jun 12, 2012 requests special prosecutor:

On May 15, 2013 Holder was asked about assigning a special prosecutor. He babbled on. But instead, today, no one thought it was worthwhile to mention or republish from CSPAN.

Impeachment: The only way for legitimate impeachment to take place is if a special prosecutor is appointed by Congress or DOJ. Its mission is to investigate one or more (but usually one) government officials as a result of widespread allegations of wrongdoing (usually and almost always in the executive branch as a prelude to impeachment).

Getting to a Special Prosecutor: Dems will never sign on in the Senate, unless new details emerge about these cover-ups. If it becomes clear that potential illegality has taken place in a department that answers to the executive branch, and a paper trail is suggested to lead to the White House, with enough public outrage, this may lead to the appointment of a Special Prosecutor. However, Democrats do not have a majority hold on the House.

What is needed for a Special Prosecutor?
Special Prosecutors: A special prosecutor generally is a lawyer from outside the government appointed by an attorney general or, in the United States, by Congress to investigate a government official for misconduct while in office. A reasoning for such an appointment is that the governmental branch or agency may have political connections to those it might be asked to investigate.

Who last faced a Special Prosecutor (an independent lawyer) as President? Bill Clinton. Independent counsels are now known as Special Prosecutors.

There is enough evidence to suggest that, despite Bill Clinton's presidency being a mix-up (in many ways, domestically, he governed from center-right), the inquisition performed on him by special/independent counsel Ken Starr may have led the impeachment failing to meet the removal from office vote in the Senate. As for months, the President's approval ratings remained high, and his perjury charge seemed to have been coaxed out of him by Starr.

Holder became more powerful than the president when asked this qustion and refusing to respond. This is his get out of jail card, unless Obama fires him first.
Holder refused to answer the question about appointing one, today, as this would have been a direct response to a question that would likely put Holder's own DOJ into the headlights and cause a massive problem for the administration. Assume Holder answered no: he must be hiding something. Assign the Special Prosecutor. Assume Holder answered yes: Assign the Special Prosecutor and now you have Democrats shifting gear. Few news agencies will report that this question from a Republican House member gave Holder a tremendous amount of power at today's hearings, and he did not even answer the question. In one word, he could possibly have started the chain of events that ruined Clinton and Nixon before him.

Needless to say, Holder was a DC judge for some years and knows how the game is played once a scandal erupts.

Only problem? The "special prosecutor" these days is not the same as independent counsel Ken Starr or Archibald Cox, who was actually fired by Nixon for "being too aggressive". One from the DOJ would likely be a federal judge and not someone completely outside the system, political affiliation aside. This is due to changes to the law that were made after the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

don't hold your breath on that one

I seriously doubt that he would go to prison over any of this. Even if he was standing in the supreme court on national tv with a room full of reporters and killed someone I doubt he would go to prison.
