Adam Kokesh On Cbs Dc Wusa9 #opencarry130704

Whether or not it's a good idea to march through DC armed I think Adam presents his argument very well here. And on CBS too no less!

he's certainly got guts

and I commend him on his efforts.

why do you think...

he's getting so much face time on the idiot box??

He's on the dole;
He's A 'Company Man' like Newt or Mitt;
He's been bought and paid for;
he loves his show, his drugs and money more than his principles and Liberty. I won't forget the Veterans March for RP at the RNC.

you guys are naive if you're listening to a word this traitor has to say

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Kokesh

Handled himself perfectly!!

great interview.

Consequences

I am not sure what to make of this.

Yes, it is an unconstitutional law. And he's absolutely right about that.

It is good that he is willing to go to jail over his beliefs.

However, the danger from fringe elements, police or participant shooting, is there.

And then there is the long term result: Any participant arrested and convicted will then have a gun offense on their record - and therefore will be unable to "legally" even own much less carry a weapon for a long time.

I am not sure who would therefore be a good candidate to participate. If anyone. Terminally ill freedom lovers maybe?

well he did say that

He was willing to work with Leos to "choreograph" the event if necessary. That was my immediate thought. That it only takes one random fringe person who isn't exactly a responsible, law abiding gun owner that just happens to wander into the march and be a jack ass and discharge their weapon. Then getting the already on edge Leos to go berserk. That's what I'm worried about. Yes, we would like to believe that we are all moral, responsible people, but we can't say without a doubt that everyone is that way. I'd love to not have to think something like that would happen but it can't be entirely ruled out.

I also saw somewhere else that someone is planning a toy gun march the same day. Can't remember where I saw it though.

Homeland security statement: patriotism is now considered terrorism.
I love www.isidewith.com shared it with everyone I know. If anything they realize its not just a red and blue idiot running for reelection.

toy guns and squirt guns = another bad idea

Especially if it is the same day. "Law enforcement" is going to interpret anything it sees as being a "real" gun. Also, there is extensive caselaw to the effect that one can be charged with a gun crime for carrying something that looks like a gun. I'm not saying I agree with it, but you are one stupid mf'er if you decide to carry a remotely realistic looking (even from a distance) toy gun in the vicinity of a known armed march on the very same day. Good way to get shot and jailed. YMMV>

The guy has guts...

good for him...he has made his intentions clear and is willing to say and act what thousands are thinking and feeling...I bet he has more support than he even can fathom!
