Rush Limbaugh lies again about the Tea Party - 5/17/13

Just heard Rush lie again today about the tea party. A while back he lied saying that Ron Paul had and has nothing to do with the Tea party, now, he is saying that the tea party started when Obama passed Obamacare. The fact that he refused to admit that it started under Bush for high taxes, the wars, and the Patriot Act, shows that he has still not taken responsibility for participating in the reason for rising of the Tea Party, since he supported Bush and his policies. This is why supporters of Ron Paul, and TRUE Tea Party activist, will never support the Neo-Con hijackers of the Tea Parties, because they will not admit to what they are responsible for.

I will try and post a video of this when the opportunity presets itself.

Don't get me started

Hannity routinely calls Rick Santelli the "Godfather of the Tea party" because he was spouting off on CNBC one day and happened to briefly state that "we should have a tea party" or something like that. And according to Fox/neocon talk radio....THAT is what spawned a nation-wide movement...

It WAS around that time that I noticed ALL of the neocon talk radio hacks (especially Glenn Beck) started parroting Ron Paul's talking points....I remember being baffled. Yelling at the car radio "WELL THEN WHY DID YOU NOT SUPPORT RON PAUL?!?!? WTF?!?!" They must have received a Think Tank memo or something because it was all in unison...

And its been going on ever since.....

Ummmm kaaaayyyyyyy

Ron Paul supporters started the tea party actually.

Yes

We know that and Rush knows that, but won't admit it.

I did not know that the Tea Party started during Bush...

To be honest, I did not know that the Tea Party started during the Bush administration or that it started because those things that you mentioned. According to Rand Paul's good buddy, Sean Hannity, Rick Santorum, is the father of that movement.

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to not support Ron Paul!

lol

Ya, not sure of the exact date, but sometime after the war in Iraq started. That's when good ole Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill oRielly, and all those other war mongers joined in demonizing the tea party. Then Obama took office, and the hijacking of the tea party began.

And that's why

So many of us here don't trust Glenn Beck and Seam Hannity too. All those Neo-cons can't be trusted.
