Dana Loesch of CNN thinks Iraq was going to attack us

Dana Loesch, CNN TV commentator, was asked if she had a principle that permitted her to decide when we should go to war, and when we should not? She answered: I haven't even thought about it, implying that she didn't have a principle. When confronted with the fact that she didn't have a principle, she argued that she did have a principle and that her principle was, whenever our interests are threatened we should go to war. An examination of her principle proved that there was no principle. In her attempt to be consistent she argued that Iraq threatened the United States and that justified our invasion of Iraq. When asked point-blank whether Iraq was going to attack us, she said: yeah! At that point she became defensive and started making false accusations about our representations prior to the interview. The bottom line is that she doesn't have a principle and apparently, doesn't even know what a principle is. Part two.

She answered your question clearly.

She stated there is no set parameter of when to go to war, and it should always be only after all other options are exhausted, adding that no two circumstances are the same. What am I missing? I don't know this Dana person, but is there some established meme here that we are supposed to hate her?

She seems like she might actually believe what she's saying

I mean, I always wonder of people like this in the media are "compromised" or if they really believe that they're doing the right thing. I could easily be wrong but she seems like she might believe her own nonsense.

Jan is there more to that interview though? She brought up Ron Paul but you didn't mention him in this video. Maybe it was during the conversation about spending (which was also not shown)? Is there a place to watch the entire interview?

By the way I don't know that I think the title of your post is fair. It's pretty clear she said she had no guiding principle so to say she thinks Iraq was going to attack the US is a bit of a stretch, no?

Hmm

I just re-watched from 3:36 - 3:40 (transcript below) and she did indeed say "yeah". I think it could be argued, however, that her thoughts were a bit disorganized at that moment, evidenced by how she changed the tenor of the conversation from answering your question to becoming suspicious that you had some kind of agenda. So are we to take her "yeah" at face value? Possibly but I'm still mulling this over.

Don't get me wrong by the way. I know you're doing your best to try to expose the lies/hypocrisy/etc and I certainly applaud that.

Dana Loesch: What kind of - yeah - I'm curious as to the point of your interview

I

would have liked to see her list exactly what "our interests" are.

When she talked about Hussein using "WMD's" on his own people, she should have gotten a face full of "well, who sold him those WMD's in the first place?"

It's easy for me to armchair quarterback after the event, but I appreciate your efforts.

bugs me. She is a fraud too! I remember her bashing Ron Paul supporters on her radio during the primary, being disrespectful.

She's attractive on the outside but...

...her ignorance is a huge turn-off. No thanks.

Sponge-brain. That's what she has.

Sponge-brain. That's what she has.

She'll wake up, some day. It's just in her case, I mean, for people in such an aggravated state of being brainwashed, it usually happens late. Very late. Often: too late.

By that time, most of their posterity is ruined in advance, already.

Her

Stupidity is a real turn off.

Ewwww....

Strictly giving my opinion on her looks and not ideologies. She's ugly, bro.

She aint not nothin on Danica Patrick

Falls up short there too.

I had to come in here for my Daily Chuckle

"Yeah! They were ready to attack with those rubber-band propeller airplanes carrying anthrax.

You know. The ones off Chesapeake Bay."

When they snigger at her under their breathes, she catches them and says (taking off the mic)

"Look, honestly? I didn't know it was going to be THAT kind of interview before this started."

That was beautiful

Her complete immersion into her corporate establishment bubble is stupefying.

There is a huge hole in her intelligent yet superficial brain where reflective, critical independent reasoning takes place.

It's just a void. He digs to a certain point and her blinders and denials to her own selfish hypocrisy snap down.

Love the little handy wave and kissy-kiss to the viewing audience.

Just to make sure that we know shes the reasonable aggrieved one here, and she is the true professional that is going to put this imposter in his place?

But that she's not (usually) the ignorant belligerent bitch that she is at the moment.

Thank you Jan

Thank you Jan, for exposing yet another irresponsible clueless reckless.

They need to be shown exactly as who they are.

If only for the record.

How sad. Going to war over

How sad.

Going to war over 'interests'?

As in...

"We are interested in taking your oil"

"We are interested in taking your opium"

"We are interested in taking your gold"

"We are interested in taking all of your natural resources"

Q.E.D., indeed.

We are interested in keeping the American people enslaved to fake money and rent-seeking Congress to keep getting their rent.

Well, Q.E.D.

Okay, Dana, fine: keep being a tool, that'll work for you.

And maybe the people will have forgotten about you and your alikes?

NOT. Get a clue, lady, some time.

I hope your shiny SUVs are all paid off for when you'll have to sell them for food and shelter.

That might come in handy for ya, lady.

now I'm curious . . .

what is AIM, then (besides 'accuracy in media')--?

It's interesting that this person (I don't have MSM, so this Dana person is not familiar to me at all) was friendly while she thought the interviewer represented 'accuracy in media'--

what does the interviewer's AIM stand for?

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Jan: "What is a principle?"

This last question was definitely the best. Your interviewing skills are no less than surgical. These interviews are timeless.
