This is coming directly from Catholic news so the citation is real. Mainstream Media will always Catholic's churches (or for that matter Christian, Islamic, Atheist, etc.) communications. Read well the line that says: ""and thus deny the right of control to States""
"The global financial crisis results from ideologies which uphold the absolute autonomy of markets and financial speculation, and thus deny the right of control to States, which are themselves charged with providing for the common good. A new, invisible and at times virtual, tyranny is established, one which unilaterally and irremediably imposes its own laws and rules. These were the words of Pope Francis in a speech to the new ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Antigua and Barbuda, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Botswana. Even if God is a nuisance to you, you need to say that a true ethics based on the primacy of God exposes the false values."
