Mall Cop Goes Berserk Trying to Prevent Photos Being Taken of Accident

A security guard for an Ohio shopping mall [Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville] made a complete fool of herself as she tried to prevent people from taking photos of a truck that ended up in a ravine on mall property.

Officer Adams, as she describes herself in the above video, first threatened to confiscate cameras, then ordered people to delete their photos and finally ended up pushing a woman who immediately fought back.

The two women ended up punching and kicking each other on the street as onlookers calmly observed, including one who video recorded the debacle.

If by founder you mean signer

If by founder you mean signer of the Declaration of Independence, all our founders where Christians and they all went to church.

Also at that time you had to be a Christian to hold office, and most of the State constitutions made during the war for Independence had something of that requirement in it, while other States had it as law. For instance, the constitution of Pennsylvania of 1776, which Benjamin Franklin presided over, required you to believe in the new testament as part of the requirement to hold office.

Stating something as fact without any knowledge is a bad thing in all cases.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I'll say it again...Many of

I'll say it again...

Many of our founders were Deists and Unitarians.

Don't even give me the 'goes to church' stuff. A politician going to church means pretty much nothing.

You haven't named one founder that was a deist. Paine was neither a founder nor a citizen - he was a self proclaimed Englishman, as said in Common Sense - which apparently hasn't been read - atheist ignorance again.

And as for Unitarians - no, that movement actually had it's heyday well after the founding of the country, and the treaty of pairs - by which this country's formal independence was recognized in treaty, starts out in the name of "In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity.". No, our founders weren't unitarians when the country was founded either.

More atheist ignorance. In fact, endless atheist ignorance. It never stops - the idea you just need to keep repeating things instead of proving them to be true.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I'm actually not even

I'm actually not even atheist, I was just throwing out some quotes from people like: Ben Franklin (aka "The First American"), John Adams (First VP and 2nd Pres., helped draft the Declaration of Independence), and James Madison (aka "Father of the Constitution"). Most people consider them "founders," you don't. Cool story.

Out of curiosity, how many people are you able to convert to your way of thinking with that... aggressive, insulting, demeaning, style of yours?

Why is it that so many

Why is it that so many claiming to be 'Christians' act absolutely nasty to their fellow man?

I've never understood that one.

Mall security should have never pushed her, simple assault

But it was fun to watch motorcycle chick kick her rear.

Obviously mall security lady was getting frustrated that the guys weren't following her demands, so she went after the smallest woman.

If it were inside an actual mall, they could make you stop taking photos of the property. However, they were taking photos of the truck and they have no authority there, even if it was an egress into or out of the mall and the mall owns the egress. That egress is given to the mall by the city to connect to a public road and therefore has public use.

It's like a public sidewalk going through your front yard, it's an egress through your property and they can stand there or whatever, could they camp there - no.

Another more simple way to look at it, if the mall set a speed limit on that egress of 15mph and you were going 25 mph, they have no ticketing power or power to fine you. If they have a no skate boarding sign and you refuse to stopping skateboarding, they can physically remove you from their property.

You know the kicks to the

You know the kicks to the head with the boot heel hurt.

Bizarre!

It's really unfortunate that this encounter ended in violence with two grown women rolling in the street fighting in front of onlookers. Whatever interest of the property owners she thought she was protecting by ordering people to stop taking pictures, the mall officer made a much worse public relations situation by her actions which appeared bizarre in the context of this short clip.

One hopeful thing can be taken from this occasion. Ordinary people will resist when faced with apparently senseless, arbitrary rules that are presented by those in dubious authority who overstep their bounds. Kind of a microcosm of that which faces us liberty lovers in the world today.

Peace, freedom and prosperity to all.

Now that's a way to get an adrenaline rush on a Sunday morning!

I hope she presses charges. That seems open and shut, a belligerent servant attacking its masters. The people were awake -- you could hear someone say "Don't take another step closer to me, that is assault".

It's wonderful to see the world wake up. My plants are growing, they're beautiful, I love life.

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

LMFAO....Wow.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

technically the rentacop was right... but that's no excuse

technically the rentacop was right because it's private property... but that's no excuse to act like a psychopath.

thank god the mall cop wasn't armed...

Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.

Actually it was an egress

it was the road coming from the public road to the mall, much as a sidewalk in your front yard. While you can't camp or settle, parade or protest on an egress, you do have a right to come and go, take photos or even stop to talk for a short time. An egress is different than a public right away or a sidewalk in a park that is public property.

If your property was surrounded by other properties and you were landlocked and had no way to access your land, by law the owners of the properties that have you landlocked must give you right to passage to your property or a state road leading to your property without recourse, they can't toll you, stop you, interfere with you in anyway.

Mall "cop"?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

No.

They can pretend all they want, but they're not cops.

Last time mall security pulled that card on me (I was 16) I found a nearby REAL cop and called him over. The security was not amused.
