Top Headline at Washington Times: Ron Paul: Fix IRS by shutting it ‘once and for all’

Washington Times | by David Sherfinski | May 20, 2013

Former Rep. Ron Paul of Texas called the recent IRS fiasco troubling — but writes that the only way Congress can protect the freedoms of Americans from a long pattern of suspected IRS abuse is to “shutter the doors” of the agency “once and for all.”

The longtime GOP congressman writes that IRS agents in the 1930s were essentially “hit squads” against opponents of the New Deal, and that allegations of IRS abuse spanned the administrations of Presidents Kennedy, Nixon, Clinton and George W. Bush.

B-b-b-b-ut What About Us Slaves???

What will we do, without the indentured servitude we are so used to? We won't know what to do with all that money, we can't be trusted with this money, it will throw the world into Chaos....anarchy even!

OK yeah! On second thought.....LET'S DO IT!

Wow!!!

... Dude, that just blew me away! An article on Ron Paul, talking about ending the IRS?! In Washington Times?!?

The Times, they are a changin. :D

R[3VOL]UTION.

Ron Paul

right again? no way...

RAND SHOULD MAKE THIS HIS PLATFORM NOW

This is Great!

Well look who's staying relevant. It couldn't be Ron Paul, no way.

"end the IRS"

is even better than "end the fed", to me (though not quite as catchy).

Why? Because there are still many people who don't fully understand how the Fed works (including some fed critics), and/or grasp the role it plays, but just about everyone knows the IRS is bad news...just not *how* bad.

Hell, even plenty of 'left-leaning' people agree that the IRS isn't needed. The only ones who think it should exist are the ones who think all the taxes go towards building roads, which can be disproven with a little effort.

The latest IRS scandal is one that liberty-minded folks shouldn't let go to waste.

A signature used to be here!

Strike while the iron is hot!

End the IRS Now! You are right about those on the left too. They would do far better with a tariff on foreign goods than a 'tax on work for pay'.

It's sad that years of propaganda heads to dustbin of history.

It's sad that government spent so much on lies.
