This information is all wrong according to Alex Jones. Kokesh was kidnapped and has disappeared... if you don't believe Alex Jones you are a New World Order shill and part of the Illuminati..
If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

As the article alludes to, at least Mr. Kokesh's "assault" on the fed didn't consist of using his face to unlawfully bloody the officer's boot.
What did they even approach him for in the first place? What was he doing--parading without a permit? And conveniently it's a fed and not a Philly cop? This whole setup is really over the top, and it's caught on multiple videos.
Cell phones with cameras could cause an unprecedented outbreak of justice and liberty--makes me wonder what authorities plan to do to stop it.
Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.
Park rangers, because where they were having the rally was operated by the US park service. They had a permit, so the park service knew the rally was happening. They put signs up stating controlled substances were against federal law. Adam and the 2 other guys got the mic and said fuck the law smoke anyway. When everybody started smoking, they went after Adam, Don DeZarn and the other guy who was an organizer.
This particular rally was being done once a month for the last few months at least.
should attempt to contact John Whitehead at the Rutherford Institute. He needs more than a public defender in Philadelphia.
Simple Facts and Plain Arguments
A common sense take on politics and current events.
I suppose there is a small chance the US prosecutor will refuse to prosecute the case? Affidavit for arrest doesn't always result in a filed case. The video is self-explanatory, seems absurd to think someone would view it and agree that he should be charged with felony assault.

...that violently body slammed Kokesh to the marble floor inside the Jefferson Memorial for the crime of slow dancing with a girlfriend two years ago?

Their main job is to go out and harm individuals that have harmed no one. That's the definition of scumbag to me.
Marijuana was decriminalized in Philly 3 YEARS ago. Under 30g is only punishable by a fine.
Ron Paul convert from the Heart of Dixie
he had to do something really stupid to get arrested. BTW, the signs in the park seem to indicate otherwise.
He's right. Under 30g is decriminalized in Philly, punishable only by a court summons/fine. However, the area where Kokesh was protesting is considered Federal property.
What does it mean? That the Feds had this planned and were the ones giving the orders. Adam was TARGETED and there's no mistaking it considering HE WASN'T EVEN SMOKING.
And if refusing to let a police officer body slam you is an "offense," then that's all the more reason to fight this bastardization of justice.
a couple of years back I was in Yosemite. In CA possession of small amounts is decriminalized too. The rangers/ park police made sure you knew it was a federal park and if you got caught smoking pot, you would go to jail and have likely a $50k bail bond. So this was also a federal park, same principle.
I think it sucks, but frankly, they should know better if they're organizing these things.
I don;t think it was good he was arrested; I think it sucks, but it isn;t the unexpected thing that people here make it out to be.
Was NOT EVEN smoking nor is he being charged with posession! It's really convenient how you keep missing ALL of the relevant information and arguing conflicting points in order to prove you are right...
About 20 posts ago in this very thread I explained that if you incite people to violate a law, even if you disagree with that law and think it is unconstitutional, you can be arrested. That happened whether or not he smoked.
I'll say it again. I favor legalizing it, everywhere.
But to hold a rally in Philadelphia in the one place in Philly where to have that rally is illegal, is not very good planning and it set this whole thing up. Maybe that was the idea - civil disobedience leading to arrest. If so, no big surprise.
1.If you have to amend the Constitution in order to enact alcohol prohibition, and amend it again to relegalize alcohol, what do you have to do to enact drug prohibition?
So, obviously, "The War on Drugs" is plainly un-Constitutional.
Lord Acton said, "Power Corrupts". Is there any doubt that power indeed corrupts? If we allow the government to wield power without the constraints of the Constitution, future Presidents, less benevolent than Obama, WILL subjugate and oppress the people. Ron Paul believes this. I believe this. Free Americans have fought and hundreds of thousands have died defending the idea that we own ourselves and that no person, corporation or country shall have the power to take Adam Kokesh's rights away from him.
The answer to question 1. above is simple. You have to get unprincipled officers willing to do anything for a paycheck, like these park pigs.
On AJ today, I think it was the producers of his show (Adam Vs The Man) who were reporting on it. AJ was like, "yeah they beat you up and then arrest you for resisting".
Am I mistaken or did someone else besides Adam get arrested and is he also being held?
You can get more info on this thread:
the 2nd video down and the longer AJ video has info as to whom. I don't recall the name....but it was another "leader". They go after the leaders of course.
Anyone from Philly go to the Free Kokesh rally today?
I'm hearing he's going in front of another judge on Thursday. We should rally again for it.

He was a speaker at the event, and is also the LP candidate for a NJ Senate seat:
what ever he had was in his left hand. It looks like a cigarette or a joint. They were still holding his arms behind him so he couldn't have switched what ever it was to his right hand. He said he was grabbing Adams waist band. I will try and find his comment.
It was official, he wasn't charged with possession or anything at the time I read it.
People are making accusations and jumping to conclusions without knowing anything, and only because it simply appears that way on the video to some, overanxious and quick to cry foul, reacting instead of studying.
without knowing anything???? On DP? NOOOO
on that video the guy they are accusing of planting something came on and commented that no way did he plant anything on Adam.
Read also that someone else that got inside info that they will be charging Adam with a whole host of other charges. We will see.
My guess is this is all about the March in DC. They will drag this out and cost Adam big bucks. This no bail is absolutely bullshit. Apparently he won't talk to his court appointed attorney. Doesn't trust her????
Most of us have eyes. That dude pushed up his coat, and put his hand into his pants. Something was planted.
The cops have eyes too, and I think its pretty obvious that that video is the ONLY reason he isn't being charged with possession of who knows what.
If they tried to level that charge, that video would have blown up in their face.
Thats why they had to resort to the ridiculous charge of assault.
the video in slow motion, it clearly shows something in his hand then he tries very hard to get under Adam's jacket.
They were originally locking arms with some other folks before getting dragged away, DeZarn was trying to grab hold of Adam before they got yanked apart,
