Will Rand Paul Join the CFR?

Will Rand Paul Join the CFR?

Published on May 22, 2013

WASHINGTON -- If Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is serious about his presidential ambitions, the libertarian-leaning Republican should seek membership in the Council on Foreign Relations. That's the advice given by neo-conservative writer Jacob Heilbrunn in an essay published by The National Interest.

This report also includes...

WASHINGTON -- An amendment to the proposed immigration reform bill would require foreign visitors leaving the U.S. through any of our 30 busiest airports to undergo mandatory fingerprinting.

WASHINGTON -- Between 2008 and 2011, members of the Senior Executive Service, or SES, were paid a total of $340 million in bonuses, in addition to annual salaries that range from $119,000 to $179,000. Under a 1978 law, those bonuses have continued to be paid despite the budget sequester.

CUPERTINO, California -- Overwhelmed by police requests for help in decrypting seized iPhones, the Apple Company has created a "waiting list" to meet the demand.

WASHINGTON -- Although the U.S. has not directly deployed military personnel to take part in the conflict in Mali, the U.S. Air Force is deeply involved in supporting the French military's role in that African nation.

Richard Haas

It does bring up a good point (indirectly) which is Richard Haas is quite anti-war. He's often on TV talking against the wars and he has a new book out which has people calling him an isolationist.

While Haas is against the wars, in his book he says he is for maintaining the balance of power in Asia and focusing on economic integration in North America. Of course, the latter's goal is an eventual political union in North America to "compete" with the EU and China.

I wonder how people would react if Haas and Zbigniew Brzezinski were advisers to a Rand Paul Presidential campaign? Despite the general perception, they are two of the biggest names against the neo-cons.

here at the daily paul and read some of the threads. people were ready to crucify him because of the false smear.
but it seems with rand now it's AOK. yeah sure, join, why not. he voted yea the other day towards backing israel with war on iran. the ron paul institute condemned the vote. gee wonder why rand isn't affiliated with the institute? he's against pot again (flip-flop) it appears he can do whatever he wants and the randites remain convinced it's all part of some master plan.

Fuck that.

Fuck that.

If he truly holds to his father's principles, NO (unless he ..

intends to take it down) This especially includes the 'no entangling alliances' principle. It remains to be seen whether he will or won't. The only other scenario I could see him join under is the 'Nathan Hale approach' -join to gain information to be passed on to true patriots, so that they may 'out' this organization once and for all.

But that man should play the tyrant over God, and find Him a better man than himself, is astonishing drama indeed!~~D. Sayers

If he does

He will have lost any chance of getting my vote.
One does not willingly join yourself with serpents and then proclaim righteousness.
But I can't imagine Rand being so foolish as to do so.

Unless you are infiltrating the serpents den

... to defeat them from within.

"Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"

Which would it be? Make up your own mind.

I'm familiar with Tsun Tsu

As difficult of a read as it is, I muddled through.
There is no need to infiltrate an organization that is already a known Globalist cesspool, one only infiltrates in such a manner as you describe to do one of two things, assignation or informational collections. The former would never be the purpose of someone of the reputation of Rand, but a unknown that would be accepted without question; any such membership by Rand would be met with questions as to his veracity, thereby preventing him from accomplishing a internal destruction.
The latter, informational, is already completed as to remove all doubt as to where and with whom they stand, and it's not Liberty or freedom.

So, no, your premise does not work, sorry.

Yes 100%

Whats the downside. My feeling is that only about 20-30% of the CFR understand the origins and ultimate agenda. Rand has an uncanny ability to "De-compartmentalize".

It's also CRITICAL that if foreign policy is being determined that the REAL government be involved.
