The Story of the IRS scandal that Establishment Republicans didn't want anyone to say out loud, is said out loud.

It's a very good article. It points out the great big sick elephant in the room, and he's going to be very mad for the attention. ~ God Bless, Stēkō Parrēsia

Why the IRS went after the Tea Party, instead of Establishment Republicans
by Craig Shirley Breitbart.com | May 22, 2013

“The Republican Establishment is pea green with envy but also embarrassment 'that the IRS did not think them worthy of harassing, or even worse, on the same side as the IRS.’” As Judge Andrew Napolitano said there is just one party, the Big Government party. The media and the crony capitalist corporate entities are part of that cabal as well, which explains their hostility.

Because both the dems and repubs are really one party

fighting for the status quo, they came after us.

"As far as the Tea Party and it sympathizers are concerned, nearly everybody in Washington is a suspect. The Tea Party has found the enemy, and it is the Washington Establishment.

Isn’t it ironic that the Tea Party now stands for the rule of law and that elements of the United States government and the Washington establishment have become the rogue, criminal element in America."

Good article, thank you for posting.

This is a good one from the comments section

This paragraph hit the jackpot of logic

"Many questions are begged. Did outside liberal groups conspire with the IRS against the Tea Party? Did Republican Establishment types conspire with the IRS to censor the Tea Party? If so, how high up did the conspiracy go inside the two major parties, both of which had something to gain with the marginalization and/or destruction of the Tea Party movement?"

The democrat and republican "establishment" are one in the same.

Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.

Any push-back on the

Any push-back on the establishment status quo is an attack on the Federal Government Corporation, run exclusively by establishment D's & R's that hang together so they don't hang seperately.

Then let's give them

What they are both asking for, and as quickly as humanly possiable for Liberties sake, shall we?

Aw chicken

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the coop this morning?

Let me overlay your statement of " it was Obvious " with the Obvious " an elephant in the room can exist forever if it is ignored, but once addressed it must be accounted for by all with none being able to say " What Elephant ? " ".
Now, about your elephant.......

Good article

So why would a "Democrat" IRS (so to speak) attack trivial groups like libertarians and the tea party when the "enemy" is Republicans?

The author suggests possible conspiring between the two major political parties to marginalize such movements, but I think the "answer" is much easier. Such third parties are growing exponentially in popularity and they are a direct threat to the IRS. Unlike establishment Republicans that might "reform" the IRS (aka tinker around the edges and make no meaningful changes), groups such as libertarians and the tea party advocate abolishing the IRS completely.

So while the Democrats and/or Republicans could have conspired to do this -- which makes sense because both parties would benefit; I think the IRS is simply trying to marginalize and hinder the growth of these movements to protect its own existence.

Isn't it funny how intuition, our gut feeling

Seems to proceed an actual event these days? And we, all of us here are like the " bloodhounds of noteworthy news " anyway, like an unannounced non competitive competition to see how quickly we can become more informed, and share it so the overall voice of Liberty and freedom becomes stronger. Nobody gets irked when their post is a duplicate, in fact we often take great pleasure in being the one who backs away, the message is more important than the messenger. I've never been a part of a group that acts like we do here, their is a feeling that " self " is secondary, and I like it.

At first the reference to "populist conservatives" threw me

however that's not a bad term for the new tea partiers.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Thank you for posting that

I'm still not sure what to make of bretitbart (as a website) but that was a very good article. It also is encouraging that they pointed out how the tea party, not the establishment republicans were the ones being targeted. That's a sign of acknowledgement of the legitimacy and growing strength of the tea party movement.

I hear you.

When I saw the Faux links starting to sprout on Breitbart, I said " Oh Boy, there goes the neighborhood ".
But every once in a while they post something like this, a real gem, so I go take a look everyday.

I met Andrew in 2010 at a tea party gathering

after we watched a movie. He talked and took questions for quite a while and seemed sincere. I know others are still upset with him so, I try to reconcile it. I think he was still on his journey into liberty and unfortunately his life was ended too soon.

He had the essential ingredient

A desire to know the truth, and the nature to not be stopped until he got to it.
This cost him his life, sad, but considering the nature of Globalism, the mental disease that it is, we can expect to see more ( Adam Kokesh, AN Poe........Raub.........) and more names being added to the list of those killed, or removed by other means . Our choice then, is in what manner do we replace one with ten, ten with thousands, and thousands with victory?
