"The Daily Kokesh"Submitted by sleepdog on Tue, 05/28/2013 - 11:59
I'm getting a creepy vibe from all the Kokesh supporters here. I commend the man for speaking truth to power. May we all be so vocal in the pursuit of turning hearts and minds towards liberty. But I have to say that the flurry of down votes against caution and reason and up votes for stuff you'd expect to hear from a whiskey-drunk teenager is disturbing.
Since he announced a planned march on DC, unannounced it, or announced a march on all 50 State capitals, whatever is the plan today, it seems the fuse has been lit in the hearts and minds of many otherwise well-meaning liberty lovers who seem to be eager for something more than peaceful protest and demonstration. Ok, so you want something to go hot? How exciting will it be for you when you get arrested and spend the rest of your life defending your 2A in court, or by going rogue in the woods to keep your hands on your pieces? How exciting will it be for you when Congress reconvenes with the full force of Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc., etc., etc., behind the "need to do something" to keep "these 2A crazies" off the streets and unarmed? How exciting will it be if you or someone you know or love is killed due to friendly or police fire?
You do realize that the thought of filling a bridge up with armed men & women is a leftie's wet dream: "Hey if we can't kill them all it's one hellava crisis to NOT let go to waste!"
Speaking of the bridge, it seems like he to called out on the naive tactic of filling a bridge with armed men and women. You would think a former Marine could have done just a little bit better on that account? The English Army figured that one out at Stirling Bridge in the 13th Century. It's not rocket science, people.
You want to fight the man, I get it. You will lose... badly, and set the Pro-2A position back for at least a generation or two.
Maybe you haven't noticed, put the bong down. But We ARE winning. If you don't believe me, that's Ok, but please don't bring your guns to town en masse and expect anything good to come of it.
Now let's see how many down votes I can get on the Daily Kokesh.
