Canadian Money-Sniffers report mixed resultsSubmitted by President Paul ... on Tue, 05/28/2013 - 13:52
Some Canadian money-sniffers are complaining that their new plastic $100 bills have the unmistakable aroma of maple syrup.
Others report that their bills seem defective and have lost their mapley aroma. One person suggested the Bank should 'increase the strength of the maple smell'.
Media liaisons for the Bank of Canada have denied that there is any particular scent to the money.
