BREAKING: CA Senate Votes to Ban All Semi-Automatic Rifles

Posted on May 29, 2013 by Robert Farago

After Connecticut upped the anti ante, The Golden State Senate is doing its level best to reclaim its title as America’s number one slave state. To that end, “The California Senate on Wednesday approved a package of seven gun control bills, including background checks for people who buy ammunition, introduced in response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.” Well, the latimes.com would say that wouldn’t they? Not to mention burying the big kahuna in the tenth paragraph. “The Senate also approved a bill that would outlaw the sale, purchase and manufacture in California of semiautomatic rifles that can accept detachable magazines. SB 374 also would require those who own such weapons to register them with the state.” Welcome back my friends to the nightmare that never ends. More details in the morning.

California Senate approves seven gun control bills

The measures include a requirement that Californians who want to buy ammunition, and the vendors who sell it, would have to submit personal information for a background check to determine whether they have a criminal record, severe mental illness or a restraining order that would disqualify them from owning guns.

The California Senate on Wednesday approved a package of seven gun control bills, including background checks for people who buy ammunition, introduced in response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

The shooting deaths in December of 20 children and six adults in Newtown as well as mass shootings in Colorado and Arizona, spurred Democratic legislators in California to look for ways to tighten the state's gun laws, which are already some of the toughest in the nation.

UPDATE 1: Solutions?

Of course, if you are a pro-freedom Californian, recalling and/or electorally-defeating douchebags like Dem. State Sen. Leland Yee, the utterly traitorous and Constitutionally-clueless scumbag who's never seen an Anti-Gun legislation he couldn't orgasm over, should be your number one priority (if you truly still believe in working with the system), along with recalling and/or electorally-defeating every one of his Dem cohorts, as well as EVERY SINGLE RINO, and the Governor.

Be that as it all may, political elections and office recalls will take time. Not to mention, as far as lawsuits go, the bill must first become law, before any legal Californian resident can have any legal standing to sue.

Luckily, so far, it seems the likes of SAF, GOA, and NRA and numerous other local organizations are simply chomping at the bits to get a bite into the next round of lawsuits. And, hey but who knows, one of those lawsuits MAY actually pave the way in overturning MOST of Cali's anti-gun laws! So all is not lost, unless the collapse of the currency comes first, then all bets are off! LOL...er.. .o(

But, like everything else we do, until there's a generationally lasting, and continuous, eternal Culture of Freedom/Liberty, all of this is moot.

To wit: to ensure that a Culture of Freedom/Liberty thrives in California, one must nurture it, generationally. Which means teaching and guiding your progeny, as well as supporting pro-freedom/liberty organizations and businesses.

So please consider financially supporting some of the finest tactical instructors in the biz, still in California, along with numerous pro-2A Californian Vloggers on YouTube and elsewhere!

CA Senate Passes Bullet Button Ban, Ammo Licensing, Mandatory Safety Classes and More

California is a strange state, to say the least. They cherish their image of openness, free speech and embracing diversity. At the same time they have one of the most restrictive and oppressive state governments in the country. Especially when it comes to gun control, California prides itself on that oppressive and now confiscatory – nature. Because obviously gun owners are criminals, right? At least, that’s the only conclusion that can be drawn from the laws that the California Senate has approved and passed on to the Assembly. Obviously, punishing legal gun owners will stop criminals from killing each other...

More gun regulations approved by California Senate

The California Senate today approved a package of bills that tighten the state's regulation of firearms by outlawing detachable and large capacity magazines, keeping track of people who buy ammunition and widening the category of offenders who are prohibited from owning guns for 10 years.

The seven gun bills the Senate approved today are:

SB 47 by Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco: bans so-called "bullet buttons" used to get around existing laws banning detachable magazines

SB 53 by Sen. Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles: creates new state permits that require background checks for buyers of ammunition

SB 374 by Sen. Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento: bans detachable magazines in rifles

SB 396 by Sen. Loni Hancock, D-Berkeley: prohibits possession of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition

SB 567 by Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson, D-Santa Barbara: changes the definition of certain kinds of shotguns to make them assault weapons

SB 683 by Sen. Marty Block, D-San Diego: requires all gun buyers to take a firearm safety class and earn a safety certificate

SB 755 by Sen. Lois Wolk, D-Davis: increases the number of crimes - including drug addiction, chronic alcoholism and others - that result in a 10-year ban on being allowed to own a gun

bastards are just following a historically true script paragraph by paragraph, so it would seem.

remains to be seen just how many critical mass of awakened citizenry we truly have at this moment right now; but that's always the most frustrating part, ain't it? The peaceful solution is so simple, yet so complex: all we 'need' are enough human souls to simply not comply at all with the govt terrorist thugs, all simultaneously, for we are Many, they a few. Same story every epoch in human history: all it literally takes is a simple shift in personal philosophy.

Enough people free themselves, from themselves, eventually, you don't even need to free yourselves 'from them.'

Then again, that reality is the same reason why the Ruling Class have always, throughout history, expended about 99% of their energy, resources, and wealth on propagandizing to us in an attempt to brainwash the mind, with utter collectivist, self-enslaving degenerate, dependency inducing belief systems and overall worldviews. no?

Truly, their real battlefield has ALWAYS been our mind, nothing more, nothing less.

But that 'non-visible until manifested in action' also makes it equally difficult for us to gauge each other as to how many of us are truly Red-Pill-awake, right here, right now, eh?

Holding pattern, sucks, don't it?
