Luke Rudkowski Confronts Obama's Science Czar

Luke Rudkowski asks President Obama's Science Czar, John P. Holdren, about statements in his 1977 book, Ecoscience, in which he outlined ways to handle "overpopulation," including forced abortions and sterilization.

Despite co-authoring the book and telling Congress that his beliefs on depopulation have changed, Holdren tells Luke that he never held the views in the first place.

Gotta admire Luke....

He's out there doing the down and dirty that most won't attempt. Highly recommend his videos and organization "WE are change". Warning: you won't be able to watch just one video..you could be there for hours....

The problem with his excuse

The problem with his excuse is that he explicitly states that overpopulation is a serious problem and appears passive aggressive over some of the Draconian policies (essentially "I know it's evil but is very effective!").

Even though he doesn't endorse or promote the crazy policies, he discusses and analyzes them in a way with an impression that maybe we should be considering them.

but he never endorsed them. People discuss and analyze things here that they don't endorse. Basically, he told the dude to read his book - translation - improve reading comprehension. Sorry but I don't see anything here to get impressed by.

I wish activists were more academically minded. Too many people speak from an extreme ignorance of how government and organizations work.

and to be fair

Rudkowski doesn't necessarily either. Thanks for being objective!

Yes, Luke is entertainment.

Yes, Luke is entertainment. More cyberpunk than intellectual.

They confronted Bill Gates over vaccines, which was embarrassing. Gates is helping the world in amazing ways and yet so-called "activists" think he's some evil guy out to kill people. There's a valid and well known relationship between vaccines and birth rates. There's no controversy here, just ignorance.

Keep it up, Luke. It's nice to see real journalism for once.

Luke is something else

I've run into quite a few good journalists on Twitter, and Luke is one of them. He goes where others dare not!
