I have a theory why youth are supporting Ron Paul. I'd appreciate your opinions and if you like it, please Digg it. You can read it at:

Ron Paul’s Appeal to the Youth
Another take--
"Ron Paul’s Appeal to the Youth" by Anthony Gregory

[Disclosure- Anthony is my 27 year old son. He writes for many online sites, including over 150 articles on Lew Rockwell.]
Most young Americans are not home-schooled.
"As baby boomers recognize the onslaught of a controlling government trampling their freedom these boomers taught their children through homeschooling. The home school movement removed big government school’s influence.
Baby-boomers, through homeschooling, taught their children American history not global citizenship. When parents opted out of government schools in favor of home schooling, these parents became mad as hell. By choosing to home school their children, these parents were penalized. Parents were paying government school taxes plus paying for the home school education. This brings us to our youth today and the Ron Paul Revolution. A revolution to bring America back to her Constitution, back to freedom and back to liberty.
It is not difficult to understand why so many young people support a man looking like their grandfather: You understand why America’s youth is passionate about liberty and freedom when you look at their education in American history. Yes, today’s youth has passion. Unlike government educated Americans, youth today indeed has patriotism."
It's like your saying all young people have been home-schooled; most have been taught in public schools.
Maybe I misread but ...
It sounds like your reason for the Ron Paul revolution's popularity among youth is because they were homeschooled and learned history from outside public education. That's a pretty narrow slot to fit in.
I went through public schools. American history was my favorite subject. Many many years ago I saw a move, 1776, at Radio City Music Hall, when they were still showing movies there, and it had a tremendous impact on me.
Just my two cents, since you asked.
