BACK FROM THE DEPTH OF THE DP ARCHIVES

I found this list of good questions. Lets pick one or ten and make the top ten ours!! Lets discuss which ones are hard enough... stealthy enough and the lease weasel-out-able.

I asked McCain why he should

I asked McCain why he should be commander in chief given his actions condeming the US while in captivity in Vietnam. He hates this question......:)

Rigged Questions

Click on Most Popular, and the Top 4 economy questions all have to do with how it will effect the SPACE race, or how will we get back to the moon, or will you fund NASA.

Give me a break, If these are "real people" questions, then boy are we in trouble. Monkeys and sheep will elect the next president.

This is all staged so they don't have to answer a "real" question.

I voted for one on the Federal Reserve, not that it will matter. What a joke.

John in Michigan

I noticed the same thing last night

If it is the same now as it was then, it is obvious there is some that have the ability to vote many multiple times. I tried to go over to the Politico forums and ask this question, but can not get on. I have registered at the site but still can't get to the forums.

What's it going to be?

When do they pick the questions? We need to choose what ours are so we can vote them up.

Another one for McCain

Ask him, given his statement that we can stay in Iraq for 100 years, how much longer in the other countries (Germany, Europe, Japan, Korea etc).
and the state of the US economy: how is he going to finance this?
How long should be stay in Iran (fortcoming)?

McCain said on Meet the Press the US should still have invaded Iraq, even if they knew there were no weapons of mass destruction! Ask him if the US should then not invate North Korea, Iran, Venezuela etc?

Also ask him if it is not arrogant of the US to think the Germans, Japanese, Koreans etc. can't defend themselves without US help?

Does he believe it is OK if innocent children (like in Korea) die becuase of a US tank overrunning them? (this statement is based on 100% true fact, I experienced it..the Koreans were absolutely outraged!)

It is a fact that Iranhas already switched to Euros and Yen when accepting oil payments. Ask McCain what does he think the influence on the oil price will be if we invade - say Iran?

here's a long one!

here's a long one!

Check out Q10 in the all section (last section)

Its my favorite question - not because I wrote it up but because

1.) It forces all the candidate to either answer that it is private or show their ignorance
2.) It creates a massive seed of doubt in the audience who would haver never imagined it is a private back
3.) It brings RP credibility - folks will say - maybe we need to pay more attention to this Paul guy.

Vote it up if you like it.

Some good ideas here, I hope

Some good ideas here, I hope we can succeed with this.

"Most Popular" Huh? To whom?

I was over at Politico and looked at their list of most popular questions and could not believe the number of people who have pushed up the questions on space travel, NASA funding, moon missions, and a whole bunch of other politically irrelevant questions

have faith - There are likely

50,000-100,000 paulites out there active on the internet

All we need is for them to click on 8 links - 2 questions per candidate. Dont tell me we cannot do it - coz we can and we will.

tomorrow we need to select the top 2 questions

coz we need the rest of the time to vote them up

Lots of questions

There are a lot of questions to vote on, but it's worth the time to go through them all. Maybe, just maybe, if enough of us vote, they will actually ask the kinds of questions that we, as Ron Paul supporters, would want asked of the candidates. Please go to the site and work through the questions.

we seem to have lost a post

anyone else notice that?

If this can work...

Then we MUST ask questions that get the candidates squirming: (especially McPain, cuz who knows what he'll say!!)

McPain: Q9
New Question: Would you support (sponsor/co-sponsor) legislation to fully investigate Vietnam POW/MIAs true status?
He might start jumping up and down shaking his fists at this one...I smell a DEAN implosion.
(something like that, maybe someone else can word-smith)

Romney: Q1
New Question: Do you really believe that you will someday become a god? (Mormons believe this.) Okay, I don't want to get slammed for this one, but I would love to see him answer that at a debate!

Julie:
New Question: Were the NYFD radios, put in service by your administration while Mayor, truly defective on 9/11 as claimed by many of the NYFD heroes and their families? If so, why? If not, are they lying?
(I see blood coming out of his eyes on this one!)

Huckleberry:
New Question #1: If Jesus were president, would he support the war in Iraq? Would he attack Iran if he thought they had nukes?
New Question #2: Besides the changes you have already proposed for the U.S. Constitution, what other parts of this document do not fit your ideals? (ohhhhhh).

Dr. Paul: (Just to be fair...it has to be hard / controversial)
New Question: You have been ignored, and some say cheated by the "Establishment", if nominated, how do you expect to win without media coverage?

Say YES to Dr. NO

"Government is the entertainment division of the military-industrial complex". - Frank Zappa

robot999's picture

No

Don't add it. I was being to harsh. But boy oh boy would that be something to see...
Say YES to Dr. NO

"Government is the entertainment division of the military-industrial complex". - Frank Zappa

the trick is to get them on air

and to do that you have to be very sneaky...
they'll catch on pretty quick if you are being snarky about it.

well we will select 2 per candidate and post on politico

and then vote them up to the top.

added all but the mormon one

If you insist I add it, I will in the spirit of fairness to this process.

Keep it going

I don't know if they will let us control this, but we have to try.

I dont really understand economics but I have Greenspans book

Since the economy is now the #1 issue in the debates, we should target a question at McCain on this. He recently said he really does not understand economics but that he has Greenspan's book. With the equity bubble popping, this should a nice way to sting him.

Right to Life

Many Christians are under the impression that Thompson was the only consistently pro-life candidate in this race. Now that he's out, a question to Dr. Paul something like:

"Dr. Paul, many right to lifer's feel that their horse in this race has dropped out. What would you say to the pro-life advocates who may now be trying to find a new candidate to support?"

done.

..

lots of good questions

For McCain
1 & 7 are similar, as are 2 & 6, though I prefer the second of each pair. Perhaps you could combine them somehow

Giuliani
Question 4 is hillarious.

Huckster
I do not personally care for the phrasing of 1-4, but 5 & 6 are good.
I have occasionally posted a question that would go along the lines of:

Tell me about Honor? Does being investigated numerous times for ethics violations, several resulting in reprimands along with talking about following the Constitution, but favoring unconstitutional activities such as an undeclared war mean that your definition of honor comes from the same dictionary from which another former Arkansas governor got his definition of what is is?

Very Nice!!!

The Ghoul.... Q4
All.... Q5

yeah!

Good job, Paulies!

How About for All

In 2005 the CFR published a document that spells out a five-year plan for the "establishment by 2010 of a North American economic and security community" with a common "outer security perimeter."
Is this a threat to the sovereignty of the US and what is your personal involvement with the CFR?
